When you pick up a box at the post office and say "ah FUUCCKKKKKK !!!!"

Fuckity fuck fuck, come on poste italiane!! shit.

Actually a minor miracle these are only moderately thrashed and not totally ruined.. Box obviously got really wet along the way. Ok I'm over it now, the discs are good. Two fewer archive copies in the world now!

Utopia is a funky/pretty jazz library by Brugnolini, Tamponi and Carnini with some avant-garde and psychedelic qualities, definitely recommended. Musica Ed Elettronica is strange avant-garde/experimental electronic library, pretty far "out there"

Euro cardboard is so thin, and they always send shit in paper envelopes, each package you get is a surprise of how worse it will get.

I got a LP package once that had a small hole in that looked like someone shot an arrow through it.

He packed it reasonably well, in a cardboard mailer not cardstock and with two cardboard inserts and bubble wrap. I'm glad for it too, one corner of each LP jacket has a big crease but otherwise they're in good shape.

Musica ed elettronica is currently blowing my mind. Strangely beautiful for how damn weird it is, everything from wild electronic experimentation to Edda Dell'Orso screaming, the male I Cantori adding vocal effects and Alessandroni whistling (probably..who else would it be whistling for these guys). And I would not be surprised if Macchi and Walter Branchi had a hand in it, some tracks have that rhythmic experimental percussion so characteristic of Macchi, and they did all work together at their studio r7 in this period (68-72). Just realizing that one of the tracks here is also on the Risonanze series called "Deserto" (here as "Viaggio Spaziale")

Most of the albums I picked up this month. I have never heard of the film Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence until I listened to the DFC. Then saw someone post on here that it could picked up cheaply.

Cool. Just looked it up on IMDB. Sounds promising :-) How is the score? Comparable to anything? From Young I only have Hellraiser, so not much te compare with...

Great little obscure OST, The Flasher!! by Pool - Pah

groovey pop psych numbers with some spots of sleaze, plus moogey bits
loving the sleeve artwork.

I don't think so. We had a non-OST new release thread, but no show off part...
Hmm. I may remedy that.

I know, I know. These aren't records, but I wanted to share these with the whole board. Especially The Omen. This is a still-sealed cardboard box original 1976 release on the Tattoo label! Drill hole aside, it's nearly perfect. Varese Sarabande released a cassette in 1990, but I've never seen one of these before. Heck, there isn't even a listing on Discogs for this puppy.

Oh yeah. Naked Lunch is a killer score, too. Especially if you like Jaaaaazzzzz.

Same here. And I haven't run into anyone who has. Though if someone did own one,I wouldn't be surprised to find them on STBC.
