Nah. It's still sealed for now, but I will open and enjoy this weekend. I bought it to listen to and will report back when I do.

Last tape I'll post in here for a while, I promise, but this one seemed particularly relevant, and resonant, to many of us here. Not to mention it came from one of our own STBC brethren, Toosoonjunior! I had Twin Peaks on cassette for a brief moment before I started buying CDs as a fairly young lad and purged the majority of my tape collection. I'm glad to have it back now. Still sealed, but not for long. The first quiet, rainy, Northwest night I get, this beauty is going in the deck. Cheers, gang!

Got this in today, went to see a showing of 10 cloverfield lane(which I thought was totally and completely awesome) and just got in late so I don't know how it sounds. The source can't have been that good considering the state of the film, but the cd version I have sounds fairly clean all things considered, so fingers crossed. I don't know anything about this label and this was released in 2006. There's some involved liner notes that I'll read when I don't have to sleep :)

Some love for my avatar source :)

Pentagram Home Video has to be 33 rpm. I tried both speeds, and for me 33 sounds better. When comparing it to a tape I have 33 also makes more sense.
Antoni Maiovvi at 33 for sure. Would sound too fast if not.

Hoo boy, couple of absolute gems dropped on the mat today. Can't get this mother off the deck right now:

Yes yes...she's a boot. I know. It sucks really, that nobody else has managed to get this RZA score out since the original 12" promo (which goes for bucks). But dayyumm!!! I needed this shit forever, and for what it's worth guys - it sounds good, the sleeve is basic and a bit amateur-hour (especially track list on the back - barely readable photoshoppery right up against the cut edge).

Can't condone it. But couldn't pass it up neither.

Next up - LOVE me this movie (aka God Told Me To, a Larry Cohen masterpiece featuring Tony LoBianco and Space Jesus!!)

Now, new guys Stylotone may have pee'd me right off with their ridiculously expensive Twisted Nerve releases but bless them for this out-of-nowhere gem. The music by Frank Cordell is absolutely on fire people! This four track EP runs everything from Goldsmith-esque opening theme to chase sounds, swirling strings, Herrmann style flourishes, rattling percussion - this is bloody killing it for me right now. And I got this for £7, which is what a bloody 7" SHOULD cost dammit! (none of yer £10-£15 nonsense...)

Nuff said.

I'm off to watch God Told Me To three times in a row via clamshell pre-cert UK vhs, and explode into a pulsing ball of light.

Another terrific release from Cinedelic. Lovely soft touch heavy tip-on sleeve, pressing sounds great. Marco is just killing it. Not to overuse the "must have" moniker, but this latest batch fits the bill if you're into library records and don't have these. Original pressings of all three are very hard to find (particularly with these covers for oriente oggi and habitat).

@Texas - The Cinedelics look great. I also saw the Macchi box set when I was at Amoeba last week, but had to hold off during the trip. I am thinking that the Franco Bixio LP is an immediate pick though.
