Picked up this beauty while in Shinjuku Japan, anyone know anything about it. From what I've been told it's a reimagined OST for the Japanese audience of the 1953 movie, Invaders From Mars. Apart from that, nothing. It sounds good, one or two tracks kill, others ...

Update: It was Shoji Yokouchi (横内章次) and called Invaders From Mars or Planet Adventure (惑星ｱﾄﾞﾍﾞﾝﾁｬｰ)

Interesting haul day. Found out a local soundtrack collector died and his collection went to about 3 record stores. I managed to scoop up this lot very cheap. Most are still sealed and mint.

Bad news: I am about a week late on the news. A ton of the collection was picked through last week, and most of the horror stuff was gone. I won't even tell you what all was in it. Let's just say a sealed Friday the 13th (with 3d glasses) was sold for $20. I can't complain though I did ok. Especially the 3.10 to Yuma private press. I grabbed a second copy of Black Sabbath just because it rarely pops up.

I got a black the visitor too. I'm anticipating this one getting some fairly heavy rotation though so I don't really mind. All those bonus tracks were a nice surprise as I apparently didn't pay attention to the release announcement or when I was ordering it.
