DJ Day – Land Of 1000 Chances

DJ Day's The Day Before is one of my favorite albums so when I heard he was releasing a new one after a six year break, I was concerned it would be anywhere close to The Day Before. 1000 Chances is, and much, much more.

I've been listening to it non-stop since I got it, both straight through and shuffled and I've yet to get tired of it. It's stripped down but not sparse, seems simple but has many nuances, and carries a vibe that is well crafted. Highly recommended.

It's "The Murder Collection" by Claudio Simonetti's Goblin (Daemonia). It's a good album, well played with not so different versions from the classics but nothing more... this edition comes with CD and it is limited and numbered but the regular vinyl version (without the cd) it's the same (the limited numbering it's on a sticker). It's not an essential album but it's ok if you are a Goblin's slave!
