Excellent! You have been busy the last months. Exotica, jazz and VS! Keep ‘m coming!
Ha ha yeah what can I say. Just when I thought I was done I woke up to a couple people counter offering me on a couple things I put offers on a few weeks ago. So I might have a few other things headed my way. Not sure if my wallet can handle all this abuse though :)

Looks good @inksb.
This stuff I got in the past week.

The 7”s are for 2 poliziotteschi and the Morricone one is from a giallo.
The Chosen is also known as Holocaust 2000 but not sure if the music differs from the Beat release from 1977.
The Divine Nymph is part of the Cerberus Morricone Film Score Society but appears to be composed by Cesare Andrea Bixio and Morricone conducted and adapted the score. I am not counting that towards my 25 Morricone’s a year because of that.
But now I do have 10 of the 20 Cerberus Morricone releases.

2 more arrivals. Very happy to get my first copy of Veruschka. I love the Easy Tempo releases so went for this one in stead of the other re-issues.

I’ve been working like a maniac for the past three weeks and haven’t had any time to listen to anything that whole time.
I finally have some downtime coming up, so I’m looking forward to spinning all of this stuff that’s come in over the past few weeks.

Taking a break from the VS madness to snag these extremely affordable beauties from Japan, with great shipping rates AND unlike the hand full of domestic packages I have sitting in the NJ distro center, these got here from Japan in literally 48 hours.

Excuse the anti OCD nature of these, but vol 1 and 3 had the music I most wanted, I’ll fill in the hole at a less expensive time.

And that third is the 7th volume in a comp series, most of side A is the score to the bloodthirsty trilogy by Riichuro Manabe, the CD complete release of which is outrageously expensive right now, BUT there were the few tracks available on wax and I’m thrilled to have them!

Awesome stuff hatter, I've not been disappointed with any of those Takemitsu LPs and those two are particularly great.
I have several of these SF bgm collection records but not that vol.7 one, will add it to the list. I've said it before, the ifukube stuff can get a bit samey but the volumes with other artists, that I've heard, are really great.

Yeah, it is soooooo good that I actually listened to it twice, despite having this giant pile of records to listen to.

Yeah man, I’ve been after kwaidan, harakiri, and empire of passion for a while so these were the two to snag, I’ll probably end up getting them all over the next few years but this is one collection I’ll space out. I’m super excited for the SF one just for the bloodthirsty trilogy cues.

Definitely on a roll with this one and Adult Themes, seem to be drinking the same water as Sven Wunder!

I also bought a record from Japan, first one in a quite a long time. I have been after a copy of this for many years. This is the ‘96 Japan reissue, and it is sounding quite good. If anybody wants to let go of their Cinevox OG you know how to find me. Sometimes I go look at the copies over in Italy on the ‘cogs just for fun. This album has such a great mix of sounds; a bit of jazz and bossa to keep things lively along with these chill and lush orchestrations of the main themes. Edda’s vocals are the magic in the tapestry for me, but even the orchestral tracks without vocals have such a nice relaxing sound for these themes. This is one of my favorites:

I sold some stuff on ebay recently (not records) and this was part of my splurge with the cash. Stripes is a total blind buy, Death Proof and Social Network are double dips - something I usually try to avoid.

with the acquisition of Christine I now have all the OG Carpenter releases.....well I guess to fully be completed I still need a vinyl copy of Waiting out the Eighties but not sure that will ever happen. One can dream though. I’ll try to post my Carpenter collection later possibly after I put my kids to bed.
