I keep on reading over the abbreviation between brackets in the topic title and just keep on posting anything I purchase that may be of interest for other folks that frequent this message board.

The postman brought this today (and I am still expecting the second half of an order)

Already listened to both OGRE tapes. Really nice sounds, especially soothing during work.

The So Deadly So Perverse books I can recommend to everyone that has an interest in gialli. Spun reminded me to buy the copies. Thanks! Part 2 is coming from the US because it is too expensive to get from a European seller. Part one as shown in the pictures is available through Amazon in Europe (mine came from Germany).

While looking for So Deadly I found out about Monster!
Depending on the issue the price is around 4-5 pounds. https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_no ... on+monster

Is this what someone would call a fanzine? Not sure. But I like it. It contains extensive reviews of films on the subject and a lot of interesting other information.
I do not know a lot about HP Lovecraft. But because of an Damn Fine Cast episode I learned a bit more. And got intrigued. If you look at the covers and contents of Monster! on Amazon you might find some volumes of interest. I ordered the zombie issue as well.
When you order something on amazon you might as well add a copy to your order to check it's contents out. It is clearly written by some very passionate and enthusiastic people.

So Deadly So Perverse is pretty great reference material. I have both.

The design and the quality of the books themselves are a bit lacking IMO, but they are on par with most horror books I suppose.

I picked up a few issues of MONSTER from amazon, its cool, I wasn't compelled to buy every issue.
but also check out the magazine WENG's CHOP I think its the same people/publisher.

@Vapormeyer - Nice haul! Can't wait to check out the Zoo Folle repress, and those video game soundtracks are so temping. I even let SFII go by. >_<

@Bez - Great pick up with that Ferrio LP. It's on my want list as well.

Since we are sneaking in some books on this thread, here are my recent scores:

The horror poster art book is excellent and covers a lot of ground across the world. Nice and large full-color prints. All things Frazetta are always essential, and the new Fulci comic printing is a fun distraction. It looks like Eibon Press are also revamping their previous City of the Living Dead comic as well for a new run to go along with this one. The Zombie OST cd is either a bootleg or some bizarre Aussie licensed pressing of 50 copies. It's insanely completist, which I admire. Also, stoked on the new Fulci bumper sticker for my ride (came with the comic book).

@Vapormeyer - Nice haul. I'm looking forward to Zoo Folle and that OutRun score. Man, I can feel myself weakening there...

@Bezulsqy - I have a CD of Ear-Catching Melodies and I love it. I've never heard the Ferrio, but I suspect it's great.

@Deafmetal - Wholeheartedly agree on Frazetta. Also, will you really bumper that sticker?

Hi Mateo,
The Outrun score is superb, Data disc have done a superb job on mastering it. The sleeve design doesn't grab me that much, as in my opinion a Ferrari should have featured somewhere, but that's a minor quibble really. I actually have a spare mint sealed copy of the now sold out limited edition in pink, clear and green. If you're interested happy to send it out to you at cost plus P&P. Just email me at vapormeyer(at)hotmail.com if you cave in and fancy it. Be nice for it to go to a good home. All the best.

Vape, you just placed the proverbial straw. This freshly hobbled camel is going to email you when he limps home tonight. Cheers, sir!

I missed that comic because they din't have a shipping option to europe.
In august (I think) they are going to release number 2 and a re-issue of number 1 with a different cover. I am thinking of getting that one and mailing them beforehand.

@jgibbs - I will be picking up Castlevania tomorrow for sure. Looking forward to collecting the series. It would be cool if Mondo released a box/book that could hold all five albums.

@Aremagod - That Alien Vault is such an incredible package and reference book. One of the best I have seen for the film.

sonnydexter wrote:@Bezulsqy they were shipping the comics worldwide I had a DM from them but with shipping of $22.50 for a comic to the UK i had to pass.
Thanks for the reply. I did read your comment back then, but when I wanted to order their was no shipping option available to Europe. And because the were only going to release a couple of the remaining first edition I thought I would be too late when sending them a mail.
I will do for their next batch. I never bought any comics as a kid, but these look so cool. I am going to get the Waxwork ones as well. Very curious to see how they are going to look.

Negative! I am looking for "reasonable" shipping from you to me, Vape. Other than that, just caught up at work; mid-week is the busy season for me. I'll get it sorted in the next 48.

@deafmetal - I was hoping the same thing maybe someone from Mondo will see this and mention it

Really nice one deaf!

Scored a few New Orleans 45s in the big sleazy this weekend. The two Broadmoor labels and the Sansu were the finds of the trip, a deal for ten bucks a piece, and just a couple dollars for the others.
