Green labels. I haven't had a chance to listen but damn is the record look completely unplayed and never taken out of the jacket, no scuffs, no scratches, no oily finger residue.

Managed to visit a great little record store in Katowice while in Poland 'Komis Plytowe'. Picked up another orchestra of the eighth day LP and two GAD releases.
Creme de menthe is part never before released material alongside a few tracks that featured on a couple of Standard Library LP's l, all tracks are by Tadeusz Klimonda.
Spisek was a short lived group made up of polish session dudes also I think previously unreleased. Both feature lots of funky grooves.

@havershaw Definitely check out creme de menth. As a library fan it's interesting to see how a few of his tracks were sold to other library labels and renamed. I think 3 tracks from the LP were released by the standard library label, alongside other Polish composers e.g. "Pop pulsations II". I'm not sure if more tracks from this LP were also released on other library labels. The album was made from the og master tapes, I do know that. I've not given it a proper listen yet either as I'm stuck with just an old Crosley type player while in Poland.
It comes with liner notes in English and polish.

those polish records do look interesting @Dollarhyde! polish composers are sill a little underrated if you ask me...

been enjoying these two Blow Out records and they are gems in my collection. for me as a huge Polanski fan it is a blessing to have the full jazz score in my collection. that Morricone is brilliant too. marvellous stuff! thanks so much @ScoJo!!

The sleeve credits state ‘Digitally Remixed by Giorgio Agazzi’. Anyone know anything about this slightly ominous statement?! (RedGoblin?)

The sleeve credits state ‘Digitally Remixed by Giorgio Agazzi’. Anyone know anything about this slightly ominous statement?! (RedGoblin?)

Hi Scott, I am not sure "remix" is the correct terminology. Giorgio Agazzi was a sound recording engineer at Trafalgar Studio and is credited on the original Digitmovies CD released in 2006 with "Digitally mixed by Giorgio Agazzi". I am not sure why Death Waltz changed this to remix or if it was a typo. The Digitmovies CD album lists multiple sources including what I would assume are the master session tapes as well as the Cinevox 45 single tracks (Tracks 21 & 22). The album also states the mastering was done by Claudio Fuiano. There is no mention of any remixing. Giorgio Agazzi passed in 2010.
