The Muppet Movie OST is one of the first records I owned as a child which I would play ALL the time. My current copy still has the poster in it. I'm hoping for a regular press of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas.

Added the VS guy in the middle this week. Now I’ve got the Italian original, the US original, WW release (and the simotetti re-record and the ams reisssue if we are fully counting).

Need that trunk comp one day.

Awesome! The VS sounds so good. Is yours the red or black title on the back?
I would also love to get that Trunk comp too. Although I'm also hoping that our resident library collector @havershaw does a comp of his own someday

I forgot to mention but Yes of course Paul Williams is the man. Off hand do you know if he was involved with any of the other muppet related releases? I can’t remember if he was involved in muppets take Manhattan. I feel like the main track has his fingerprints all over it. Anything after that I would be shocked.

Congrats on getting a VS copy DotD @hatter are you trying to find a Japanese pressing? Or the Dagored version?

That Trunk comp would be awesome.

Emmet Otter is him too, and the muppet Christmas carol from ‘92, but not any of the other films. Although yeah some of those “takes Manhattan”cuts sound like they could be his for sure!

I might get the Japanese if I come across it, probably skip the dagored.

I had Il Tuo Vizio E' Una Stanza Chiusa E Solo Io Ne Ho La Chiave on my want list since it came out in 2018. Six months ago there were still a couple for decents prices for sale on Discogs. But recently they dried up. On eBay I could only find a couple for very high prices and when there was only one copy left on Discogs I pulled the trigger. I bought the other two to save on shipping :-)
The Spasmo is the Tiger Bay re-issue and it sounds excellent. I now have every Morricone score available on vinyl for a giallo except one 7" (Il Mostro) that I still need (there is no LP for that one).

I suggest you don't wait too long to get Il Tuo Vizio E' Una Stanza Chiusa E Solo Io Ne Ho La Chiave if you see it for a price you want to pay. I think this will end up becoming very expensive in the same way as the Dagored release for Bruno Nicolai – La Dama Rossa Uccide Sette Volte

But Dagored has re-pressed some of their releases in the past so I would't be surprised if they will get to these eventually.

Nice additions there @bez. I still need to order Spasmo. I really love that Nicolai and was surprised to see the fairly luke warm reaction to Dagored reissuing it. I bought the moment it came out. Glad you got a copy.

This has been on my want list since it was released. It is one of those scores I listened a lot to on CD back in the day but I kept postponing to get a copy of a vinyl version. I got it now simply because the seller did not have a lot of other stuff for sale at a decent price. And shipping costs of 20 euro spread across 2 or 3 records do make a difference :-)
Very happy to finally have it. Listening to it now. I actually forgot how great it is.

End of the nineties and beginning of the 200s I listened to a lot of NIN and related stuff. Did not pay attention to scores in general but loved tis release as well as The Crow and Natural Born Killers. Those two I also have not yet purchased on vinyl. There is too much stuff to get :-)

@bez @scojo
aside from the VS releases and the Yasuke OST by Flying Lotus (bottom left) the rest came as a batch from a Russian discogs seller, for great prices.
Metrum is a polish easy listenimg album, apart from a cuople of slightly interesting exotic sounding tracks the cover is the best thing about this record.

Discophonia is a weird 80s Lithuanian funky synth album by Argo, (apparently one of the first albums to utilise the Vilnius 5 synthesiser)

There are two Zodiac (russian synth rock group) LPs, one of which contains music for two films, great music.

Lastly (the one with the snow on the front) is a collection of Edward Artemiev film score music, my first artmiev I've really listened to, and loving it!

@scojo

The artemiev and zodiac LPs have alternate sleeve art (diff. Pressing) from what may be more commonly known releases. I really like the Artmiev LP sleeve compared to the more commen sleeve you can see on discogs.

Obvs i love Artemyev, will look into that one thanks. But also recently I fell in love with Zodiac after this clip was doing the rounds! 😍

Wow, @inks - nice copy of H3. Wish I had an OG.

@dollar, I’m really loving all of this stuff you’ve been exposing me to!

Last week I went back into my exotica want lists and realized there were a few nicer copies available for stuff I already have, so I got a few duplicates.
I know the Duophonic is “fake” stereo but some of those actually sound pretty good, so I’ve been attempting to get both mono and Duo, just to compare.

The White Goddess is OG but mono. I figure I can trade up if I ever come across a decent original stereo that doesn’t cost a fortune.
