milliondollars: Yes, but with different tracks. From a previous post:

We have one cue that Fulci hated , him and fabio had quite the row about it not being used (many years later Fulci agreed it was a great cue !) He had quite the temper apparently (Some very funny sleevenotes from Giovanni in our release)
This is the score plus an unreleased cue and live suite.
No outtakes as such
this is Fabio’s vision .

I was all excited to find Godzilla & City Of The Living Dead on Norman Records, but those two after shipping to the U.S. and currency conversion would cost me almost $40 a record! That really sucks, and unfortunately that means I have to pass on these soundtracks. What a shame too, as these look like two really great releases. It'll be exciting for everyone that does get to grab copies.

As for the licensing restrictions on Godzilla - is that tied back to something with the rights to the film itself? Or does it mean that another label is going to release the soundtrack within the U.S. in the near future?

If memory serves, GF, it was simply cost prohibitive to secure the US distribution rights from Toho. They were looking for big, big money for that territory. According to DWRC/Carlos (I can't remember who made that post) no one had the US rights as of yet.

@ghostfires - I was in the same boat, kept hesitating with Norman and then pulled the trigger.

Have followed that up by spending my morning making phone calls to a handful of friends who frequently need day-laborers as I didn't remember until AFTER I ordered that I have a $600 insurance bill to pay this coming week.

My vinyl addiction completely blocked out any and all rational thinking.

I will now be spending the remainder of my weekend listening to the glorious hum of weedwackers and lawnmowers.

I completely forgot about LITA. I was able to grab the deluxe edition there, along with a clear vinyl version of Slumber Party. It's really too bad about Godzilla...maybe one day it'll make it here to the U.S., but for now those shipping prices and the currency conversion just make it too much.

I snagged the Deluxe City and a clear Slumber Party from LITA. So pumped... I was really really bummed I couldn't afford the Sub 4 back when it was on sale. Now all is well... we are truly spoiled with all these awesome releases on dock for this summer.
