Maybe Spencer was just referring to his excitement for the upcoming Synapse release. He's mentioned it here and there over the past couple of years.

Interesting. According to the comments, Spencer says it is one of the scores he listed here in 2013: http://thequietus.com/articles/13739-sp ... oundtracks.
Considering that many of them have been reissued recently, if not by DWRC or Mondo themselves, I'd say that Suspiria looms large. I wonder what could make it exclusive though? Unless it was a live rendition or a rerecording or some suchness.

Given his post the other day about suspiria, and the fact that the answer to "greatest horror score ever" is probably suspiria.....I'm going to agree with the above and say that it's going to be some sort of release related to suspiria.

Hellraiser AND NOES in October ??

oh oh...
time to budget. even by budgeting, I'm not sure I'll have the money aside for NOES. I assume it's going to be an expensive one I guess I'm not buying anything until these two drop.

Yes, very expensive.
Hellraiser LP $30
Hellraiser box $80

I am guessing NOES: $125-$150

And then there is shipping :-)
Each box from US to Europe: $40 - $60
Cusoms?

Without customs I am calculating rougly $350-$380 to get these releases to my home.
And to be honest now I did that math for the first time I am a bit shocked.
There is also that Suspiria box I just learned about from Cinevox. And the other Italian releases from DWRC (I'm guessing some set for November/December).
Also yet to be announced stuff for Mondocon is probably going to wet some appetite.
Are there any other soundtrack labels that release stuff?

Do we know how many LPs are in the Box o' Souls yet? Also, I can't help but wonder if the music will be available later, or just separately, as individual releases.

I have this. It's a great collection, although some of the CDs arrived a little more scuffed than I liked. Not bad enough to make me reach out to them, but a little disappointing, especially given the money spent. On the flipside, the CDs in the "Little Box of Horrors" set were perfect. I'm going to pass on the NOES box set -- the CDs are good for me -- and on the Hellraiser LP (got the Hellraiser/Hellraiser II limited CD from a year ago). Right now, I'm trying to save what I can for Cadabra Records' third subscription, which goes up for ordering on Sept. 15.

7LP? That makes Scotty right:-) Not going to be under 200...
And it's not apparent from the teaser image if any of those are 2LPs. My thought is New Nightmare may be, since the CD release is pretty long. Judging from past releases, both TLOU and Alien were 4xLP box sets and were around $75, so my guess is that the Nightmare box will be 8xLP around $150 .

@reddye6-I was a little disappointed in the NOES box set from VS too because a couple of the discs came a little scratched. The problem in my opinion was the clear plastic sleeves that the discs were housed in was causing the issue; I replaced all of the discs with standard paper sleeves. I think VS just made a mistake in choosing these kind of plastic sleeves to store this box set in. I have the "Little Box of Horrors" set and the "LP to CD" set and both are good to go with higher quality sleeves that originally came with those editions.

I'm overall happy with my NOES CD set too and won't need the vinyl box set reissue.
