Yeah that's the second pressing, the initial one was only 500 I guess and sold quick. The February release is the repress, LITA and 2HD were the cheapest that I saw in the US for that version.

@Bez, I bought a few Mondo items too. I wasn't going to dip on the WW sale but the items were so discounted I bought in. The Mondo sale had some better titles for me that I was more interested getting. I did get one of the Mondo "Mystery Boxes". I'm just wondering if the boxes are a combination of Mondo returned items over the years that they're looking to dump off :) I'll find out soon the Mystery Box is in the mail.

I forgot to add mine to the cart when I placed the order so I contacted Mondo the next day and asked if I could still get one and they were good with that. I just told them to put whatever they wanted to in it so that should be interesting. Aeon Flux was a great deal with the discount pretty expensive box set at full price. Enjoy if you bought it.

I passed on Aeon Flux because of shipping. If I added a second box shipping would be 50 dollars and then there is the custom charges on top of that.

Mondo is shipping my orders in different batches. I received part of my first order containing 2 out of 5 records of 1 mystery box. Will show all when I have everything in hand.

No problem & yeah same here. And you're right. It was mentioned on their FB "fang" page that there will be no 2025 subscription. Not surprised as they still have outstanding releases & swag for 2024.

Interesting- so Bell completely reconstructed the score (as closely as he was able) from over 10 hours of tape material of raw sounds he and Tobe created. I feel like this must be a first in the soundtrack release world? (it also sounds like he was very conscientious about not ‘cheating’ any missing parts, and fidelity to the original mix. It also sounds like the kind of project that would probably drive someone completely insane!)

I thoroughly applaud the effort, but it seems as described in the article that this is very much a ‘new’ interpretation of the score which has been made using the original sounds. Compare the End Titles sample track in the above link to the end credits of the film itself - they are really quite different.

I will happily add this to my collection (especially since the sleeve art isn’t a wash like many WWs - feels more like an OWS release on that front actually) but will definitely not be getting rid of my pressed-deep-in-the-heart-of-Texas bootleg :)

Too bad the Roger Bartlett track that was playing in the background when they were all in the van with the hitchhiker won't be on the soundtrack and that's kind of a disappointment, but I'm sure the rights to use it would have cost too much.
