I received my WW confirmation email for a splatter just a few seconds after the paypal confirmation. I hope those of you who paid for bloods get your orders fulfilled. What a week.

Hey guys, So i was able to place an order for the splatter version within minutes of it going live, very few problems. But I never got a confirmation email from you, just my paypal receipt saying it had gone through. I'm a little nervous that something went wrong, especially after 3 days of freaking out. please let me know if you can.

Just got home from work. Boy what a night! So I refreshed the forum on my phone and saw the Waxwork post stating they were going live. Got two splatters and two split colors. Plan on giving them to friends that weren't able to get online. Got errors for 3 or 4 minutes straight. Miraculously I was able to checkout. All the while this was during the rush at the restaurant where I work. I was able to get a friend on the line to cover my station while I "answered an emergency phone call." Still can't believe the blood filled sold out so fast. Very strange. I got to the site right after the post on here and was surprised to find they were sold out before the twitter update. Crazy. I didn't really feel like dropping $65 for the blood filled anyway, so I'm happy. I must say I did enjoy all the hype and anticipation for this release.

Hey Evan, keep me posted if something changes, I email end waxwork and PM'd them here, but I don't know when they will get back to me. I've got to say after all that drama this week, I really don't need to be fretting over this for another 3 days, but I'm kinda worried they won't get back to me over the Long weekend. Im hoping it was just an email glitch since the paypal confirmation went through fine, but man I just really wish all this was resolved and clear and over with. Fingers crossed.

Yeah I emailed them directly after I ordered for suspecting this very situation. I am sure they are buried in mail. I hope if they browse this thread they could just post and confirm that paypal confirmations will be fulfilled. It would be a new level of suck if we got to the finish line only to come out empty handed. If I get any response I will let you know. So strange all of this over a record

@paulzaza I'm waiting to see what they actually look like before deciding which one I'll want to keep (though I usually go for splatter over split myself) and assuming whichever one that is plays ok the other one will be available at cost. I have completely forgotten when these are due to ship so not sure when that will be.

There should be bunch of other people with spares too from the talk before the shit hit the fan but maybe the server clusterfuck messed everyone up.

I was opening the records the mailman bought today when the notice went up. I was about a minute late and that was enough for the blood-filled to be gone and the server to have a seizure. Madness.

And after a bumper day of excitement and a little disappointment I am off to bed to dream sweet dreams of organizing a DDOF (distributed denial of flipping) attack by getting everyone to buy all a flipper's stuff but never pay them (we can all afford one non-paying buyer strike right?). I would hope Waxwork would cancel the orders of people who are flipping the blood version before it has even shipped. I'd say once it's in hand, sucks as it may be that's fair game, but doing it as soon as it sold out is pretty shitty.

I ended up with a splatter copy, so I'm good. I'll probably pick up the standard version once it hit shops. I stand by what I said before, glad to just get any version of this release, as I'm sure it will be awesome.

For all the site frustrations, and with all the build-up can't help feel fortunate that I at least got something out of the drop... and kudos to WW for giving us a heads up.

Not a moan, more a suggestion, but going forward it would be better customer service if once you had an item in your cart you were given a couple of mins grace to type in your details and hit pay before it threw you out, as happens when booking heavily in demand gig tickets etc...

Know the situation is the same with Mondo - i.e you can add an item to your cart and then find it's sold out as you're trying to pay - and I lost out on an Amber JP in the same process a couple of months back.

Also I'm sure many of us would have been happy with just a choice of two colours for this release, as Waxwork did with Chopping Mall. Imagine how much calmer this thread would have been if the discussion was 'are you going for the red or the blue'?

The blood filled one always felt like a way to hype everything up. That said, sure I'd be singing a different tune if I actually got one
