Oh fuck yes. On all fronts :O

If anyone wants to get really revved up for this, I can't recommend highly enough the Shout Factory DOTD bluray and the accompanying feature length doc about the film, "World's End" - exhaustive retrospective on the film, including a detailed look at the score and the reaction to it (I had no idea that it was so controversial and even hated at the time! Bloomin' fans, eh?)

On it's first release, I saw the film at least five times during it's one-week run, skipping school every day to watch again and again. I have to agree with both Romero and Savini - for me it's their unflinching zombie masterpiece. And Harrison's brilliant music elevates it to another level, bringing soul and warmth to a generally very bleak and downbeat movie.

Your thoughts please!

saw it day of release as a kid, too. wound up getting the poster from the theater, but lost it at a video arcade! lifelong scarring. i disliked the score originally for it's plinky and doinky aspects. i mean, after the GOBLIN work on the previous film, who could be blamed? have since grown to enoy it. own the japanese press (no obi).

waxwork just says 'random time' - to be alerted via a message on their website and twitter

Where's the variant choice?

Grabbed mine! Didnt see an option for variant choice, so i assume its the first 300 orders? It would be nice to have some kind of confirmation though...

Kevin at waxworks just confirmed via the @waxworkrecords twitter account that the first 300 orders get the variant.

so, i got the regular edition from LITA earlier, and just got my order in with Waxworks (hoping i was one of the first 300 to order) - otherwise, i'll have two of the regular edition. :)

Yeah I kept refreshing cause I thought a second DOTD listed as the variant was gonna pop up. Once confirmed it was the first the 300, I hauled ass! I wish there was a way we can login into our account before hand.

Maybe they could provide the range of order #'s receiving the variant copies. This assumes order #'s are assigned in chronological order.

I would guess we are all within the first 300. I hope so anyway, find out in a few weeks.

I read these on twitter: @damianzamora
"I know order 880 is the earliest order I've seen so if youre 1100 or less youre good".

Mine it's 955, so I think im fine (N° at my payment receipt).
