Ok, I got this email from Kevin, so I'm now officially convinced that four versions exist. Since the two Clear ones don't list any numbers of pressings, however, I assume they're not that limited (although they still look good :)

We usually don't give out the numbers of units we press for legal or contract purposes. However, all Waxwork releases are limited hence each release sells out fairly quickly. We will be re-pressing each release that sells out as special editions to keep the original pressings unique / collectable.

The versions of Rosemary's Baby are:

Frosted Clear
Crystal Clear
Black with Burgundy Haze: 500 units
Double color split baby blue and deep red: 200 units

Mine has arrived!

...and it's Crystal Clear. Ah well, I am not a lucky man. Incredible-looking package, can't wait to give it a spin once the wine starts working!

My copy from Amazon was dispatched today. Not bad for only £17.09 delivered! Price is now way up to £26.38 and available on Amazon Prime.

See what happens people! Sometimes you need to go with the big companies to get the cheap prices and like a lot of you are now realizing, even when you pre order early you still don't get the limited variants.

Waxwork just announced Chopping Mall via their Twitter. "Details to follow." Looks like I know what I'm doing tonight. Now if only that damn bluray would follow suit...

I'm so psyched for Chopping Mall - wonder if it will come before or after Creepshow? And I am dying for Waxwork to start a subscription up - I'm sure most of us here would jump at the opportunity.

The horror/sci-fi vinyl resurgence is showing no signs of slowing down and I couldn't be happier - it seems like all of these labels just keep getting better and better, and pushing themselves (and each other) further and further. Just hearing about these upcoming releases gets me high.

Well Amazon posted mine on Saturday and it came on Monday. By far the cheapest price delivered. I just got the clear vinyl which is fine, all vinyl is clear until color is added, it's in natural state so that doesn't bother me. I'm impressed with the package, the inner sleeve was slightly torn at the side so part of the LP was sticking out but that wont make a difference and it's a tight fit in the outer sleeve so I'm surprised that happened. I do prefer the black inner lined sleeves, I think one day I'll need to buy them and start using them when I clean my records.

Only just saw the news about Chopping Mall whilst researching for a podcast I'm going to record on the film in the next few weeks. Very excited by it as Chopping Mall has been a favourite of mine when it comes to trash 80s horror. Will definitely be a day one purchase.

Been digging this site for a while, I appreciate the high level of fan-dom I see on here for these labels who are putting out great products. After reading Waxwork's lineup for 2014 I'm drooling, being a child of the 80's myself all these films hold sentimental value and I can't wait to see what Waxwork does with the variants for these. Anxiously awaiting Creepshow, Friday the 13th (part 3 especially) and Killbots (whoops I mean Chopping Mall) which I just watched the other night as a refresher and it's seriously entertaining, boasting one of the great head pops of film history, rivalling closely the shotgun blasts of The Prowler, Maniac and Dawn of the Dead. You synth nuts are going to freak over Chopping Mall, total 80's synth cheese destruction.

@Ash- Make certain to post up a link for that podcast when you're through. I'd love to hear it.

Scanners?

@Mateo Sanboval : Scanners!!!! hahahah a glaring omission from the list of great head pops. A legendary scene, Michael Ironside rules that film!!

No greater an omission than The Prowler is from my repertoire. I've never even seen it! I shall amend that forthwith.

@Mateo willdo. I get the feeling it has the potential to be my favourite episode since our debut 'Shakma'.

I don't believe I've seen Chopping Mall. I remember the vhs cover in the rental shops around town.

Creepshow may be the first Waxwork release I purchase but it depends on the price. I find it hard to pay more than $25 for a single LP & even $25 is too much. Creepshow is one of my fave films (someone needs to get on the special edition blu-ray!). I still own the comic.

I sometimes think you people in the States are a bit spoiled when it comes to the price of vinyls... With shipping I paid $54 for the latest Waxwork release (1 copy).

Even with Death Waltz, which is EU based, I have to pay $15.84 just for shipping of a single vinyl, whereas US folks pay $8.67... (I know they have a US distro deal, but I'm just saying...).

Yes, shipping within the U.S. is definitely more affordable than postage rates within the E.U. plus we don't have the VAT tax. Still, with so many records, I have to be picky.

Actually, to ship a LP via media mail within the U.S., it's around $3.00.

I no longer order from the E.U. & rarely trade with anyone anymore as airmail postage has gone way up. If I can't get it from a U.S. distro, I blow it off.

Yeah, but we get stuck with those high postage rates anytime we order something outside the US. Death Waltz is a very rare exception.

Do I win a prize? And I didn't have to pay over list to get them either.

Detail of the clear versions:

I like the frosted clear over the crystal clear. And as cool as the haze one is, I think the double sided one beats it out. Very cool packages and outstanding work by Kevin, can't wait to see what's next!

Hey guys,

We will have some detailed information on our upcoming release of CREEPSHOW available next week.

We think you guys are going to love the artwork by Ghoulish Gary Pullin (which there is plenty of !!!), the liner notes by George A. Romero and John Harrison, and the vinyl itself. Most importantly, the music. The story on how we were actually able to acquire the original master tapes, and release the entire score is worth mentioning. Details soon. We cannot wait to get this one out.

Thanks for your continued support. We've got some real classics, some fun titles, and even some rare obscurities in the works for 2014. Stay tuned, guys.
