The Pawnbroker has really got bits of Rod Steiger dialogue in between the Quincy Jonesness...

Meaning, I think the Steiger interludes are great, as opposed to I'm trying to convince someone that they exist

The soundtrack LP from outrageous blaxploitation film "The Spook Who Sat By The Door" has some priceless dialogue. I'm also fond of the political discourse buried in the grooves of the OST "Getting Straight" with Eliot Gould in fine ranting form. Johnny Hawksworth's "The Penthouse" contains some queasy, sinister extracts from the film, and oddball soundtrack "Otley", by Stanley Myers contains a wonderful sequence in which DJ Pete Murray plays himself 'on air' when an old flame/ conquest rings in to the studio to remonstrate with him. Finally, no one should be without the OST to "Electralglide In Blue"- top notch dialogue and music to boot!

Funny - my Electra Glide OST was worn out, so I got a mint sealed replacement from Ebay that arrived today! (Inc an enormous, wild 6ft long monument valley poster - woah!!!) I totally agree, amazing score (as is the film itself...)

As it happens, other arrival today was the Play It Again Sam OST. That one is almost completely dialogue, lots of great Woody Allen zingers! (Though strangely, despite being labelled as the Film Soundtrack, it actually appears to be a recording of the stage version, with some of the films' score by Billy Goldenberg layed in...odd!)

The most obvious one to my mind is "Head" by the Monkees. I think Jack Nicholson did most of the knob twiddling on it, bizarrely.

Our Class of Nuke 'Em High OST has a couple of dialogue snippets on it. Originally we wanted more, but time didn't allow for it.

Couldn't resist putting in the "We're the youth of today" bit in, though.
