DD-003: STRANGE WORLD OF COFFIN JOE/AWAKENING OF THE BEAST SELECT OST
Finally the elusive Doolb Norab strikes back with a new release from his mysterious tape label DRIPPING DUNGEON.
Similar to the last tape this one showcases one soundtrack on each side, both recorded using archaic means and without atmosphere eradicating remastering.
Side A- "The Strange World of Coffin Joe" Side B- Awakening of the Beast, two long audio journeys through a relentless psychedelic nightmare. Coffin Joe, aka Ze Do Caixao, made some of the purest most genuine horror movies the world has ever seen and should be no stranger to those interested in Dripping Dungeon releases.

Purple tapes housed in an oversized library case, including a Coffin Joe patch and five pins originally released by Castle of Vomit.

This edition is extremely limited so there will be no wholesale or trades. The last two Dripping Dungeon releases sold out instantly so I can't hold copies for anyone this time.

Lastly, Dripping Dungeon is not my label, as always YPestis is the main distributor for this release. DD is owned by Doolb Norab who has no interest in the selling end of producing merchandise or being a part of the popularity of soundtracks that occurred after DD was initiated.

Dripping Dungeon Shirt
Very small quantity of these, most likely never to be reprinted.
The face of Doolb Norab on black Gildan shirts.

Also, I brought back the 50% off sale until November 1st.
Enter code PESTIS when checking out for 50% off everything except new releases.

M Akers is rad, gang. I've got several other releases from him and spin them on the regular. Elders of New Detroit is a particular favorite right now.

rhos, thanks for the heads up on Mike Ratledge's "Riddles of the Sphinx"! I'd never heard of the movie or the soundtrack before, but I was completely sold by the samples and wound up stabbing the buy button pretty quickly myself.

Also, thanks to antimax for the heads up on the La Puntura Velenosa Della Notte 7". My copy just arrived today and it's pretty freakin' awesome.

JM, it looks like a long shot but please let us know if you get any more copies of the Coffin Joe tapes in.

Got that too! I am really looking forward to this. The library series no's 1 to 5 remain some of favourites. They sound so analogue and unedited as library lps used to from way back. The 7"s I just bought because they looked lovely and I'd sold enough to buy them!

Wow, that was fast for something that is not really new or that unique and limited to 500...

I've always found the Wicker Man soundtrack to be absolutely awful...but I would suspect this one sold out quickly because of Richey Beckett's art work. His work sells out instantly on just about any platform that it lands on.

I didn't get the first DIM (1 to 5) if it's what you're talking about. I'm looking for them, did you know if they were sold in box or something like that ?
In the mean time I take the DIM001CD, the "Finders Kreepers 7″ Series Subscription (Volumes 1-5)" and "DIM Series Subscription (Volumes 6-10)".

Can't wait to sample it.

I have to agree with Ghostfires on this one. I bought the CD on Trunk when it first came out, and I eventually sold it.

For those of you who got a shipping notice from Finder Keepers for the new DiM subscription, did you get it via email or did you log into your account? Haven't gotten yet, but I did buy mine not that long ago.

I was brought up on weird folk so couldn't help but love it. One of the reasons I got into trunk records and bought both red and black versions.

As for FK sub, bought on 1st Oct and they emailed me shipping notice last Friday .

@Oiche - haha, well I did give it a shot several times at least! I just found it to be so irritating that I couldn't make it all the way through each song. Folk music for me is very hit or miss...there is some out there I really enjoy, but the majority of it I just cannot get into. I'm not big into vocals anyways - it has to work very well with the music for me to enjoy a vocalist along with the music, and typically most vocalists work at standing out against the music so you can understand them. That just doesn't sit well with my ears.

I will say that Beckett's artwork for it looks awesome!
