Always find it funny how a 'signature' can increase the value of a record. I mean, unless it has a certificate of authenticity, a signature is practically worthless. Anyone could duplicate a squiggled line across a record!

£45-65 is not that bad. I think I paid around £40 for the record including shipping when I bought it from the label.

Re-animated Cat: When I was collecting comics in the 90s, a signature would actually decrease the value, since the comic book wasn't considered in mint condition anymore. As for the certificate of authenticity, anyone who has a printer can fake that as well

But I think it's cool to have a signed item for your own sake (and mostly if you get it signed personally).

Ha, yeah I can see why it'd decrease the value. I imagine comic book collectors can be pretty hardcore!

I must say, that copy of A Field in England on ebay looks pretty gross with the black marker across the cover.

Agree though that getting something personally signed is pretty cool. If it's something you really like, you're never going to sell it anyway, so it doesn't matter about its monetary value.

@zuko cheers dude! I managed to buy one direct from Mr. Wells a couple of days ago. He said these were only meant to be for cast and crew and he only managed to get five. Our very very limited (30 for sale from a run of 60) screenprinted "woodcut" style poster for A Field In England will go on sale at 16:48 on Monday. We won't announce it online for another 24 hours to give mailing list subscribers a jump. (But we can't promise others wont!)

A couple of things - the poster isnt signed as Ben is away doing his Doctor Who'ing .... and we'd strongly recommend choosing the recorded delivery option for this one - its Xmas (nearly) and there's a lot of post flying about!

Amazon in the US are taking pre-orders for a digital-only (yeah, but in the absence of any further vinyl release, it might have to do) version of this for a March 24th release. Why they're taking pre-orders for a format that isn't exactly going to sell in finite numbers is anyone's guess, but hey ho.

There's a ton of us waiting to hear! No plans announced just yet, but makers did say on FB last year that they might consider in the future so keep your fingers crossed.

I think I heard that a digital release is on the way, and the tape is also fairly widely available.
