I noticed that the upcoming Blu-Ray release of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST will include a CD of the original soundtrack so I was wondering which films people own that also included a CD ost? I know I have DVD/CD of BLUE SUNSHINE, NEKROMANTIK (can't remember if it's I or II that has the CD), SUSPIRIA, & THE PINKY VIOLENCE COLLECTION. Also, I have a French boxset for IRREVERSIBLE that has a CD but I can't remember what is on it.

Repo Man & Maniac Anchor Bay tins from the early 2000s came with soundtracks. Maniac disc was in the shape of Joe Spinell's head.
The deluxe edition of Argento's Opera also came with a soundtrack.
I'm hoping Cannibal Holocaust OST on vinyl is in the works now because of this blu-ray release.

Not quite a CD, but almost every Twilight Time blu-ray release includes an isolated musical track. They sound fantastic.

I have the Dust Devil 4 disc set. Guess I never noticed that one of them was a CD!
The shaped MANIAC CD is interesting. I don't think I've run across that before.

I'd love to see more dvd releases with isolated scores! I think it's something I've only seen done a couple of times.
Personally, I'd love an audio track option where you could remove the score but leave the dialogue and sound effects/design, which would allow musicians to re-score the movie, if they wanted. When I started making music, the first thing I ever did was hook up an 8 track to a tv and recorded my own score for scenes from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It would be a pretty niche option for dvds I guess. Most of the time I do my writing playing along to films with the sound off anyway.

@bitewerks The cd that came with Dust Devil also has a different tracklist then the cd Varese Sarabande released. So this one is doubly fun

@static It wasn't that great! I was just learning the ropes. I'm working on a record now that's based on the idea of an alternative soundtrack for Near Dark.

Thanks Creature! Although the one pictured isn't mine. I just grabbed a pic off the net
I bought it when it was released so yeah whatever retail was for that back then. I have most of the tins. I even got Heathers recently for a really good price just to fill a hole. Only one I'm missing is H5. Anchor Bay used to be the shit back then. Now they're just shit.

The Criterion Repo Man also has the soundtrack included.
Troma's Redneck Zombies also came with one, which, for $5, isn't a bad deal.

I've picked up a few things there myself...Videodrome Media Book etc, they're a bit slow on postage, but have some really nice editions.

The last Wicker Man reissue came with a soundtrack CD, as did the US version of Electric Dragon 80,000v (which annoyingly missed out the best track)
The original Korean Special Edition of Oldboy (which I've got here and is frankly rather gorgeous) also featured much of its soundtrack as part of the bonus DVD - as well as heavily featuring Starsailor as TV Spot advert/DVD menu music...
