I don't know if anyone here is in Dallas, but there is a pretty cool event on October 8 for opening night of Dallas Video Fest. Douglas Pipes (Trick 'R Treat) re-scored Hitchcock's silent film The Lodger, and his new score will be performed live by the Dallas Chamber Symphony while they screen the remastered film. One day only event.

Just got back from The Lodger screening. Douglas Pipes' score was brilliant and fit the film extremely well. Very impressive. This is the first time I've seen the Dallas Chamber Symphony, and their performance was quite good. The film looked beautiful and was cleaned up quite a bit for the remaster.
Spencer, if you see this post, a The Lodger/Douglas Pipes re-score would be a superb addition to your Death Waltz Originals label. I don't know if they recorded this performance or any of their rehearsals, but it was really good and deserves some sort of physical release. The stylistic elements of the film would lend themselves rather well to some great cover/design possibilities. The Lodger is also in the public domain.
