No real soundtracks at the moment for me...but I do have some very long standing desire for a few records that I can never seem to track down...

No, seriously though.... I once heard there was an acetate of Gene Clark recordings that 16 people got as gifts. I can only imagine how much something like that would go for. Maybe myth, maybe not, but I would love to find out.

Other than that -- I recently received a copy of Night On Earth that I had long sought after, which completed my Tom Waits collection -- well, except for all of the bootlegs...that is going to take a bit more time.

I recently scored the Night On Earth OST too.....and I friggin' love it! Actually had no idea that it was so sought after/relatively hard to come by. German-only Warners vinyl release (much like Goodfellas...) and I guess it crosses over into a few different collector areas.

My two are Tutti I Colori Del Buio LP (All The Colors of The Dark) and 5 Bambole Per La Luna D'Agosto LP (5 Dolls For An August Moon.)

Agreed on All The Colors I'd add that CAM Absurd promo to that list last one I saw sold for $450

DW, total agreement, AND a friend found a copy of Absurd in Germany a few days ago, it's on it's way over to AU courtesy of DHL and I'm literally pissing myself in anticipation. With that and a copy of The Boogey Man, also just arrived, I've only got one more on the list, Manhattan Baby and I'll start sleeping like a normal human being again.

I'll also add Libra (6) Schock LP on cinevox which I NEED, and the first pressing of Bird with the Crystal Plumage on Cinevox. Now that I'm thinking of it, a definite grail for me is the Simon Boswell- Aquarius sound horror fantasy Japanese press LP. Lastly, the super rare monster that is Stelvio Cipriani- Incubo Sullo Citta Contaminita.

One more. I need to throw in Death Laid An Egg.

Not necessarily horror, but being a huge Danny Elfman fan I NEED to get my hands on a copy of Edward Scissorhands, which I think was a limited German pressing, and is rarely seen up for sale anywhere.

I am with those Bohren records 100%

I have the single of Abe Baker's The Web which was used in the strip club scene in The Brain That Wouldn't Die.

I also have The Fortunes-Ghoul In School which was used in the American cut of Werewolf In A Girl's Dormitory.

I also have some original library music from the 1940s-50s with all the tracks that Night Of The Living Dead, Plan 9 From Outer Space, Hideous Sun Demon and others used.

Hans J Salter's Ghost Of Frankenstein soundtrack on vinyl.

Months after finding my grails (#brag), I'm still wide awake digging ... I was sure after finding the below I'd just sit back, resubscribe to Death Waltz every year, turn up the stereo and smile. But damn it all anyway, my lines in the sand keep changing.

New grails, 'Dimensione Violenza', 'Incubo Sulla Città Contaminata' and 'O Esquadrão Da Morte'.

I've learnt nothing!!

I know you have posted ABSURD before, but please don't show it to me again, I am so damn jealous... where and whend did you find it?

@repulsion, it's totally braggy I know. I just can't get enough of it and everyone suffers, apologies. A friend in Germany had two copies, I've known him for a while and he was finally ready to let one go. Could not have been happier. Obviously.

awesome piece, a real grail! Maybe there is going to be a reissue some day.
The film is still one of my favorite 80s horror movies, even if the critics hate it.

@repulsion I wouldn't be surprised if they reissued this gem, it's so so great. And by "they" I mean Death Waltz Recording Company.

No you won't...it NEVER stops...

One grail I am itching to own is the original Evil Dead OST, I've seen them here and there for sale but at absurd pricing. Hoping to A.) find an excellent copy for an excellent price or B.) hoping for a reissue which is sure to be excellent. either way, the waiting continues.

Same applies for The Thing OST.
