Did anyone else listen to The Sound of Cinema on BBC 6 Music today with David Arnold and Matt Berry? If you did what did you think? If you didn't I'd recommend listening on the iPlayer. I thought it was brilliant, they played some classics and had a section on horror soundtracks that was really good too. I just wish it had been longer and now I can feel the urge to buy some the soundtracks they played that I don't have in my collection...

Gideon Coe played a good selection of soundtracks too earlier in the week. A nice mix of well known and slightly more unusual. Here's iplayer link and the playlist.

I missed the David Arnold / Matt Berry prog - will have to catch up now!
Also check out the Sounds of Cinema TV series on BBC4 - first one was fascinating.
