After hi-jacking the 'What are you playing thread' (apologies Static) with a mini conversation between myself and Disco Sucks I figured it would be pretty good to have a thread where people can add their favourite places to pick up vinyl (online & retail, if this has been done before apologies)

Recently moving from London to the Midlands I thought I'd lost out on places like Sister Ray, Rough Trade & Flashback but through this forum I've discovered Milque & Muhle in Digbeth and this weekend Polar Bear Records in Kings Heath.

Both places had a truly brilliant selection of everything from soundtracks to shoegaze.

If you're ever in the Midlands I couldn't recommend these two places more.

I'm based in Bristol, and can definitely recommend Rise Music at the top of Park Street. They have a pretty good range and are always helpful if I'm after something they don't have. Head can also be worth checking out, it's a smaller range, but they tend to have different titles.

Online I tend to use Norman Records, who are just brilliant, although I've used Bleep a couple of times and have no complaints with them either.

Love me some Record Album, distance is my only obstacle now but plan on head long there in the new year. Always manage to pick up something awesome there.
