This is a bootleg soundtrack label. Not run by me but moderators please let me know if posting about this kind of stuff is unwanted here. If so I'll take it down asap.

Here's what I posted on another forum when I first heard about the label back in 2010. I figured pasting this would be easier than trying to describe the whole thing, ha ha.

"I got a totally random package from this label the other day that had one tape and a note in it. The tape is the "un official select soundtrack" to an Italian movie from the 60's called Crypt of the Vampire. It's very murky, Lo fi and some of the eeriest shit I've ever heard. I guess the guy that made the tape only included the "darker" parts of the soundtrack to achieve a totally haunting sometimes psychedelic and like I said, eerie as fuck listening experience.
The letter said the tapes are limited to 50 and are smeared with "human blood". The guy who runs the label is named Doolb Norab, does any of this ring a bell to anyone? He asked me if I wanted to officially distribute the tapes, I'm just curious if anyone has dealt with him or the label. "

I've never heard of this, but I'd love to find copies of these tapes. This sounds absolutely awesome!

I've thought about doing something like this several times myself...but with my own, original music. I have hours and hours of synth music recorded to cassettes. All of it ranges from being influenced by Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze to John Carpenter and Brian Eno. I'd love to release these songs in their deteriorated form, but have them be anonymous and released by some tape label with no real description and/or follow-up with me. No live shows, no bios, nothing...just weird cassettes with a bit of mystery. Now I just need to find someone actually interested!

Love the dude's name - Doolb Norab - Baron Blood - reference to the movie I'd assume, with a little Troll 2 thrown in for good measure.

Hey ghostfires, do you have any samples of that stuff? Just curious. Feel free to pm me if you'd rather keep it private.

Oh sure, I have no problem sharing!

This set below on soundcloud is a little over a half hour long of some of my horror disco music. I always pictured the disco scene of Friday The 13th part 8 when recording most of these songs. These were recorded to my laptop though, so the quality will obviously be higher than the cassette tape music. I don't have any of the actual cassette tape songs uploaded. I probably should though so people have an idea of what I'm talking about, though these songs found below are really very similar in style. Feedback is ALWAYS welcome no matter what!

ghostfires, thanks for sharing your music with us! I'm all for having more horror disco music in my life and I really enjoyed your sets.

JM, these releases sound absolutely fascinating. If you have any information to pass on to us about the Coffin Joe release, it would be greatly appreciated.
