What a cover. That's the stuff back of the bus dreams and notebook doodles are made of.

That reminds me of an artist called Rodney Matthews. My dad bought me a book of his art when I was a kid. Wow, some fond memories coming back to me now.

Good eye, @Vapor, it is indeed art by Rodney Matthews.

I wish MOFI would've done the rest of the 80s Bunnymen LPs.

Forgot where I posted this, but I went to the GAS concert a few weeks ago

@Mateo

Was pretty great. He leaned on his classical stuff as with beats, with a lot of excerpts to his latest newest albums and zauberberg. It wasnt full songs off the record, it was mixed in nicely into a whole cohesive play.
Was an intense concert though, he let it build up almost an hour, such nice chills at the end.
Also someone gave me a tip to his solo stuff, to his nationalpark 10 song as wolfgang voigt, pretty great piece and somewhat similar to this live concert.

Oh and the screen graphics was quite nice.

So, recommended, go see it.

That sounds like a killer show, Steve. Thanks for the recap. I've never seen him, but I'd love to. I know Deaf is a big Voigt enthusiast as well. Not sure if he's seen a show or not.

I have never seen him perform. Sounds like a fun night out though. Thanks for the notes, SP!
