I don't think I've seen really any talk at all on this board about the music of Lilacs & Champagne, which I think a lot of you would dig if you're not into them already.

Basically it is two guys from the psych band Grails, and they're using lots and lots of awesome samples from old, lost vinyl while throwing some great guitar work over it all. I believe all of their albums are still available for sale on vinyl at Mexican Summer's website.

Awesome! Glad you're enjoying it Mateo. I've read some pretty critical comments on them because of their use of extended samples, but to me it doesn't matter. They weave psych rock and obscure pop samples over hip hop building blocks, all the while creating an enjoyably weird listening experience.
