Carpenter's "Lost Themes Remixed" and sound issues

When "Lost Themes Remixed" first came out, I posted that Side A had static throughout it, and a few others confirmed that they had the same listening experience; this was the blue vinyl. Since that post (and STBC's Phoenix-like rebirth), I contacted Sacred Bones. They sent me a new copy of the blue vinyl, but it also had the same sound issue. I contacted them again, and they asked me to send back both vinyl pieces; they said that they would see what they could do.

That's where I am right now (the vinyl should probably arrive at Sacred Bones today). Anyone else contact them and have a similar or different experience? Hopefully not all of the blue vinyl is poor.

Exactly the same, 2 copies with the identical problem on Side A. They've asked for both back but I haven't made it to the post office yet, they're sitting in my car all packaged up.

The stamper or somesuch must have been messed up, there's no way they can fix this without a repress.

I had exactly the same problem - noise on side A. They sent me a replacement and I can confirm that the issue does not exist on the replacement - it sounds perfect to my ears.

I have the same problem but was waiting to see how other folks issues were taking care of first.

I've got the red and clear swirl variant here in the UK and it seemed ok, at least Sacred Bones are taking care of those with the dodgy blue press.

My experience with all the Deluxe version is interesting as well. I received a solid translucent blue vinyl with no haze/splatter effect at all, but it sounds perfect to me. I'm happy enough with that.

My blue copy has the same issue. I emailed them about a replacement, and they said they're out of blue, but they'd said they could send me a red or black copy. Kind of bummed. At least my copy is #14/350.

Sacred Bones was cool enough to send me a red vinyl replacement. However, it has the same issues, but not as bad. Anyone with a red copy have the same problems?

Does anyone have a version of this that sounds good on wax? I don't care about the color, but I am not pulling the trigger on a purchase if these are all buggered.

@Mateo - my solid translucent blue copy sounds perfect to me. As I mentioned above, they actually shipped that copy to me instead of whatever the haze/splatter edition.

My red vinyl replacement sounded good.
