Turntable tonearm bearing bad?

Wondering about the deck on the right. There's a spot towards the tonearm rest where the tonearm wants to snap back into the rest rather than float. It also floats back a little bit right before it's all the way in the middle. The other one doesn't do that. The arm on the right also feels a little stiffer in it's movement. Doesn't "float" as smoothly.

Think the bearing is bad? Trying to decide whether or not to return these.

One thing he doesn't say to start is to make sure you adjust the feet to make the table level before you start.
