This has just appeared on the internet, brought to people's attention by Mike Doughty (so suspicion automatically falls on him!).

Interesting stuff. Especially as three of the songs are "new" (from 1998) recordings - apparently for this very project - by one Elliott Smith.
UUL has a Facebook page with only 4 likes so far and bugger all information as to what's going on. Will probably have many more by the end of the day...
EDIT: A friend of a friend informs me that UUL and Mr Doughty are one and the same.
