Hello

looking to sell these two records, neither is really my cup of tea. In perfect condition, no longer in shrink but obi-strips have been neatly stored inside sleeves. I have no idea what to ask for them, but was thinking maybe £50 for the Godzilla and £40 for the HOTD... I welcome offers though as I rarely sell records so don't really know about what a 'decent' price is for stuff.

Hope it helps, I just bought Godzilla and HOTD Subs editions for €40 each from a forum member (http://www.spintheblackestcircles.com/f ... ms-45-sub/).

I can't understand if you are selling BTBR Sub too. If so, my offer is £35 + shipping to Italy.

Sorry, mistake in the title, not selling BTBR.
40 euro each? this record business is crazy... that's cheaper than it cost me to buy them in the first place, and at the same time, people are paying £100+ on discogs/ebay for sub copies! I was reading the forum before posting this, and someone mentioned putting Godzilla on discogs for £100 with a 'best offer', and eventually selling it for £66 (which is why I chose the figure £65). There seems to be literally no logic in selling records!

It's worth whatever you'll let it go for. That's the way I think about it rather than thinking about what the purchaser is prepared to pay for the item.

Yes, market of these records, in particular for subs editions, is really crazy and schizophrenic (correct?!).

I paid £300 for Sub1 complete, £200 for Sub2 complete, strong undercost for Sub3 (purchased separately) and at cost spare Sub4's.

Starting with Slumber Party Massacre (then Godzilla, COTLD, HOTD), together with Sub editions also exists limited DL issues with approx same runs as Sub editions, so IMO Sub ones become probably less atractive. Not for me, of course! ;-)

You can for sure make more money selling on Ebay or Discogs, but it's nice that sometimes you may to buy some rare record at cost right here! ;-)
