Can't find any clips online to post. The title "young love" gives some indication. It's a mostly orchestrated record with a definite Italian sound, one or two up-tempo tracks, a bluesy jam and a really killer smoky flute jazz funk track "discorso sul sesso" (talking dirty/sex talk, I think) at the end. Nice overall record, but this last track is really great.

@million is this on your list of records with women's first names? The B side track names are Angelica, Beatrice, Catherine, Dorothy, Evelyn, and Francesca

Tons of library on Spotify at the moment. My barrier seems to be that while I can look for a specific thing, I am not able to really browse the genre in anything resembling a comprehensive fashion.

This one is pretty mysterious and cool. Basically it's one long 30 minute composition with experimental orchestral and electronic stuff on top of ominous synth tones.

This record has some beautiful tracks on it, but the sleepy rural cover hides a secret: the tracks "Nevrosi da Traffico" is great, and "Furto Di Una Grossa Cilindrata" is an absolute psych monster. I think it's an underrated record, the whole thing is good.. some nice guitar work, Italian vibes, wordless female vocals.

Still looking for a reasonably priced copy or reissue of #7 and #12 from this series... Hook a brother up if you ever see one!

happy new year everyone! i was avoiding the digital world for a week or two, living like in 1996 or so, haha!

@Texas: what is going on with all those Nike records recently? it seems like some boxes have appeared somewhere. i have grabbed the full unplayed set (1-5) for peanuts recently. did not have time to listen to them though...

I agree someone probably found an archive box. I got #5 most recently for a good price and then shortly after one auctioned on eBay for quite a lot. I still don't think many were pressed at all, probably not more than 100-200.

I do have a copy of Trasparenze to sell if someone needs that one. Tastiere Oggi, Trasparenze and Chitarre Folk are the best, and tensioni isn't bad either. The green one isn't very good.

yes, probably 200-300 i would assume. got them for $50 each which is ok i think. i can imagine that i like the green one just from reading the titles and describtions. will check them out later...

enjoyed this record over the weekend, which i consider an overlooked Alessandroni gem. it took me quite a while to find a mint copy but it was worth the wait. i would say this is his best record from the late 70s. reissue exists, can't judge on the quality though...

Where did you get them for 50 bucks each?? I would buy them all at that price.

The last copy of #5 auctioned recently for something crazy like $600, and #1 for I think like $250. Green one has one mysterious kind of track I like, the rest wasn't for me. Chitarre folk and Trasparenze you will like a lot, they are both really great. I think $200-250 is a normal price for these, less for the green one and more for Tastiere Oggi because it has "dj" type tracks on it.
