They were licensed from different companies, but in my useless opinion i hold the Cinevox/AMS catalog in higher regards since they originally released and re-released these soundtracks, and if Fabio was involved with them I know it will be top notch.
not kidding myself though, I'll buy them all of course.

Thanks, Chad. That's what I would've guessed. It seems like DWRC are using original pressing plants (and perhaps their original stampers?) and adding heretofore unreleased bonus cuts from the Cinevox/AMS vaults. Waxwork seems to be reissuing the expanded CD versions of these titles from whomever owns them. Interestingly WW isn't (as far as I've seen anyway) made their usual "remastered for vinyl from the original tape", neither has DWRC for that matter, so I wonder if anyone has access to original materials here. Not that that always matters; I just find the whole thing very interesting.

The collectors mentality is going to win here for me, I'll probably make room by moving some of the AMS reissues from the last few years along.

I think there should be a livestreamed cage fight with Kevin vs Spencer & Mo, and the winner gets to release expanded profondo rosso. The loser has to change the release to a modern Goblin: Rebirth re-recording of the score and publish it as "Deep Red Reimagined"

Well at least there's a good chance that these will be in stock at Mondo or Waxwork for some time to come. I'm just going to wait for one of those "buy 2 get one free deals" from edsawesomesounds and just pick them up then.

I'll second that - makes sense.

Oh, I just stumbled on your posts. What can I say?
Ridiculous? Embarrassing?
I had an idea on how things went and was close to what reported by monsterworship.
AMS has an exclusive on Cinevox vinyl reissues but Waxwork has found a way to bypass it. I thought they had obtained the digital licenses from the IDM in Zagreb but AMS' boss told me that was even worse (?).
However, the Waxwork's album picks up the contents of the 2CD set by Cinevox, including many tracks that are not in the film.
The Mondo's album has only the tracks present in the film including 6 never released before provided by me.

Why is Phenomena more expensive than Inferno? Both double LPs. Oh well. I may pick up Phenomena eventually

I'm going to revisit Infernos score this weekend. I'll be buying DW Profondo Rosso though, I like the artwork more.

Good lord, the bundles are sold out already.

With the subscriber’s discount it was like $102 including shipping, which seemed like a pretty good deal to me.

What are people's thoughts on the Salem's Lot score and Waxworks release of it? I snagged it from ebay recently for $27 and I can't wait to give it a spin.
