Just received the Only lovers Left Alive I ordered from Amazon for £8.99 & the only reason I'm posting this is it seems the cheap version is for the 3 track 12" single and not the whole album.

I'll keep this & probably end up buying the full album, just thought I'd post as I know a few of you have ordered the cheap version too.



Not sure if the listing has changed but when I ordered it didn't specify which version it was.

@max - No sir, aside from the sticker the whole record (sleeve, vinyl, label) all black.

@max - Actually giving this a closer look it appears to be a limited 1000 only edition on 180gram vinyl.

Seems I lucked out and nabbed something pretty cool

I ordered from AmazonUK also but checked again that it was the 2xlp set...at least that is what was listed so I'm hoping it's correct

I had another look & it doesn't say 2 lp so I guess I ordered the wrong thing.

I gotta say I'm kinda happy with the 12" It looks like a mystery record haha.

I've got this one too - it's a nice little "None more black" curio so am happy with it. I've paid more for 'standard' 12"s in the recent past so not disappointed.
I've ordered the 2LP direct from ATP, looking forward to getting that when it's out (had an email earlier in the week stating pressing problems in Germany, should be out next week).

After giving the 12 a spin I'd say I'm for sure going to order the LP or pick one up in town.

It's certainly a bit special - Zola Jesus and Madeleine out of Cults also appear, it's a really strange thing overall. Can't wait to hear the whole thing!

And if you look hard enough in the sleeve, there's also a teeytiny download card in there too..

About this 12" I found some interesting info on the label site:

"This is done in 'Triple Black' product & packaging (as referenced in the film) - black vinyl, black label, and black sleeve."

I sorta avoided the film, thinking it looked a bit naff from the trailer. But I'm a projectionist in a cinema and thought "what the hell", gave it a shot: "It's Jim Jarmusch! All modern trailers are crap! Get your head right son!"

What a surprise - I friggin loved it.

And the music is friggin amazing!!!

Got the OST from Milque and Muhle today. Oh hell's yes, listening now and it's obviously gonna be a fast favourite.
