How does that 2015 repress sound?
I got an original recently and I wasn’t super impressed with the sound of it. I hadn’t heard it since I was a teenager and I remembered it sounding bigger than it did.

I guess I’m hoping the new Beetlejuice is an expanded score. But the more I think about it, the more I sort of wonder how much unreleased score there really is in that movie. Maybe not very much? I feel like at least all of the major pieces are there.

I feel like the recent repress was basically a cd on vinyl, and not expanded which I hope this will be.

Thanks. Much appreciated. Hopefully this new release will be more satisfying.

Speaking of that type of thing - does anyone have the Varese Re-Animator and also the Waxwork?
I just stumbled across a Waxwork copy and I’m listening to it and it’s maybe muddier than I expected. I’m curious how the Varese sounds in comparison.

My Night of the Living Dead was shipped from WW to Birmingham UK on November 16th.

Interesting tracking report... guess it takes 2 weeks to get...not very far (and back again!)

I sold off a fancy WW record to someone in France recently and the darn thing has been sitting at the Charles de Gaulle airport since Nov 14. According to tracking anyhow. Who knows where it really is. Both the buyer and I are starting to sweat.

Sure thing, @deaf. It's more the fact that it has since bounced back to Melrose Park, IL that baffles me.

Maybe it's because they're DEAD, THEY"RE ALL MESSED UP!

Like Hatter said, I think it needs a remaster but I was not disappointed with it. I'm not a huge fan of that score to begin with, so it sounds okay to my ears.

So that's two variants that we know of. Is the 2018 WW Sub fulfilled or is this a Sub title?

Sub is fulfilled but I’m glad it’s coming out this year so I can use my discount!

It really only subtracts shipping, but that’s better than nothing.

Got it. I was curious about the sub in relation to the variants we've seen thus far. Looks like the two we know of will both be available for the layperson to buy.

I feel like they would have mentioned an expanded track listing right here if that were the case.

I’m still all for this, though, as I do think a new mastering could do a lot for this score.

New WWR teaser out this morning. Seen a few guesses for Little Shop Of Horrors and The Prowler, but it honestly beats me.

Kicking off 2019 in a deeply disturbing way. Stay tuned.

My guess is based upon other people's guesses. I simply connected some dots. Do love Einhorn's scores...
