For a while, it was like the dark days of dial-up as it slooooowly revealed, like waiting oh-so-patiently for the "boobs to happen" However, it was so worth the patience - this looks friggin amazing and right up my street! (Ever seen/heard "The Horseman of the Skulls"? I'm asuming this is Mex too, mind you...)

Haha - oops - didn't realize the setting on my phone was that big. I'll fix it, thanks for the heads up. I think "Horseman of the Skulls" is the same as "Rider of the Skulls", which I have a shitty VHS copy of. And yeah - the LP is 2 soundtracks of 1950's Mexican horror films from the same director - I've only seen one of the two films, but the director did a ton of stuff that I need to see, not to mention hear.

@NathanLurker - Thats a cracking soundtrack! Wondered why that didnt get more attention here, although it looks like they did 247 copies in 3 editions, so low key stuff. I see you got the 'art edition'. Very nice sir. Do you know anything else about the label? Some of those other LPs look interesting art-wise.

Oh Yes Oiche, I'm a huge Phantasma Disques Collector man and their artworks are so great ! They're not released in big numbers but sometimes there are some variant reprints of some albums so if you miss out you can get another edition later on. I usually go for the very limited edition and sometimes I buy many editions of one release. I got a few of their test presses as well. I should take some pictures of their package designs.

Ha ha...my daughter is approaching 3 and likes "spooky" music so Saturday mornings we get through a bunch, maybe even 4, of goblin and carpenter soundtracks. Those are good times

Mine turns 4 in a few weeks. She always asks me to "put on music with words" if I'm listening to scores. I don't mind though because it usually leads to dance parties

And of course it doesn't hurt that I got it for £10 from Amazon
