Ugh! I accidentally ordered the picture disc. i thought i was getting the black. Still it does sound quite nice, a few pops and clicks, but hopefully that improves after a cleaning.

@rasmus & @bub - after ordering the 12" by mistake but then loving I'm glad to hear the whole thing is great.
It's just a nice album to have on.

I think I just got deja vu - I'm now almost certain that I commented similarly in the past on this very strand/on this OST! (I might be wrong...ahh, it's all a blur

I'm currently spinning this and, after almost putting it in the "inessential" category, I fortunately heard a sample in my local record store (now THAT"S why I still love physical stores!) and it's absolutely fantastic - British 60s jazz, very mellow, similar to the early Komeda/Polanski (but sweeter) and with the flavour of Chico Hamilton (Repulsion/Sweet Smell of success...)

Waiting for my copy of the sammy lee LP. I have all the trunk releases so I buy the new ones automatically even if it's somethig I wouldn't look twice at otherwise. I really like some of the jazzier stuff he's put out.

It's fantastic. And I haven't even played Vertigo yet as I'm saving it for last as it's an all-time favorite. Have you got the doxy version of Psycho? I'm finding mixed reviews on that one.

I do have the Doxy Psycho. It's the original score and not the later re-recording which makes it nice to have but the sound quality isn't perfect.

I heard that about the sound quality. Still, it's the only time the original score has been out there and I found a sealed one for $20 so I figured it's worth a punt. It should round out the set nicely.
