@Nathan - thanks so much for the upload. It's totally not what I expected (not really sure what I expected). I like it - in a "something unlike anything else I've heard in a while" kind of way. Anyway, I appreciate it - and will definitely pick it up the next time I see it.

As I've been typing this and listening, my wife says "what the fuck are you listening to? Is that Bollywood?".

And the Layne's mustache thing killed me. Amazingly accurate description.

@Layne - the haircut has given new life to that 'stache of yours. That thing's a monster!

Owned the first 2 for a while but picked up the just released Ricardo Donoso remix 12"

From left to right:
As Iron Sharpens Iron, One Verse Sharpens Another, Iron/Verse remixes.

And yes that is a Hello Kitty blanket (not mine, I swear)

Toledo record show today was short in the soundtrack department as usual, but I managed to snag a sealed Blue Velvet, Day of Anger, Krull and this god awful Freddy's Greatest Hits 7inch (hey it was only 5 bucks)

On the non OST front I did grab an old English Dogs LP and the first Life Sentence LP.

@4000days : No problem, for the upload. I needed to try recording vinyl to the computer anyway so it gave me a good reason to test it. I think I have to play a bit with settings to adjust input volume. Anyway, It's good to be able to share a bit with fellow vinyl fans and preview those records before buying them. With the amount of vinyl coming out, can't buy them all, so a good preview is a good way to filter what's needed in the collection or not.
Also, I was laughing to myself too with the "stache comparison but it does fit heh ;)

@Layneharvey : I shall prepare to mourn the 'stache, when you loose it I'll wear black for a week man haha

@ bansel - The Freddy is cool for the cover alone - I recently picked up DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Price's "Nightmare on My Street" just because it pertained to Freddy...no Freddy photo but sticker explaining that the song has nothing to do with Freddy...too funny - Hell you walked away with Life Sentence...that was well worth the trip!

Not even close to being a record but thought I'd put this up.

I found this in a discount book shop for £1.99 and they had a couple more so if anyone is interested I'd be happy to head back there and if they still have any pick one up.

From 1992

Nice rack, Spencer!

But actually, where did you pick this up from? I like the light look, compared to the expedit.

@repulsion - I actually chased up about mine this morning and it arrived this afternoon!

The guy at Homeless said that he'd had a large amount of orders down to Spencer posting about it but that all orders had shipped.

Hope you get it soon & those 7" are awesome :D

thanks for the info. have been playing the mp3s for quite a while, but I'd rather have the vinyl :) "CELESTE" is a damned fine song.

I passed on this when it was talked about last year. Thought it sounded a bit like early Juno Reactor in places at a quick glance. Just listened again thanks to you guys talking about it and Tony's sweet vinyl-porn pic and its grown on me in a big way. Splatter/ obi version of 150 sold out at source but available at EU 22.50 + EU 4.50 world shipping from http://www.x-mist.de/ which I think is very reasonable. Ordered! :)
