Finders Keepers is doing The Case of the Bloody Iris:

https://soundcloud.com/finderskeepersre ... loody-iris

I didn't see anything on their site & the above link was posted to another site. I'll pick up Bloody Iris if I can find it through a US distro.

Great news for All the Colours of the Dark, I love that movie! Great music, too.

Wow, LITA have been screwing you guys over a bit recently, what with the RSD leaks and all. Hope you give them a talking to.

Just knowing that you've got 14 whole releases in the pipeline already makes me extremely happy. Glad to see you releasing some Nico Fidenco stuff as well, even though Emanuelle - Perché violenza alle donne? isn't my favourite I still won't be able to resist it. Would love to see either Emanuelle in America or the legendary Porno Holocaust soundtrack for RSD next year. Mainly becuase I don't think I can live without a copy of the song Sexy Night on vinyl.

All the Colours will be up for pre order on FKR later this month I believe, along with the 10" Case of the Bloody Iris!

Not meant to be snooty, but I got my copy of Forbidden World yesterday, and the cover was great -- no warps. In fact, it was easier to get the album and inserts in and out of Forbidden World than it was for Room 237 or New York Ripper. I'm mentioning in case the warping problem could be traced to a particular batch or run. Or maybe I was just lucky.

@bansel -- wasnt sure if I could PM you on this forum, I just joined -- wanted to ask you about your slumber party massacre LP (original) purchase -- I have a lead on one and I'm trying to find out if its the same seller and whether you were happy with the record -- this one is also sealed, a little worried about warping though -- i also wanted to find out how much you paid for it but didnt want to talk numbers openly -- can you PM me if you know how.

It seems the warping was the subscription copies perhaps. My sub copy was warped but has since straightened out, and my copy from LITA was fine. I'm glad to hear that all releases from now on will be gatefold with the booklet. While the large sleeves are really nice, the gatefold copies like The Fog, AOP13 and Ms 45 are nicer in my opinion.

My sub copy is and was fine.

It's not just sub copies. Seems to be just a few bad sheets of card stock used for some of the covers. Just got my LITA versions today and the FW cover is bowed, like the others I've seen on here. Vinyl has minor scratches on it, but might have just been from bits of dust in the sleeve with it during shipping.

I too am happy that future releases will be gatefold Not a big fan of the structure of the FW cover, and the Ms.45 packaging is beautiful.

Just a quick note... two of the guys that did the soundtrack to Room 237 are also in an awesome band called clipping. who have a new record out on Sub Pop.... you can pre-order that on their site now - vinyl has 100 locked grooves on the last side.
I really enjoyed midcity their free bandcamp record.

My sub copy was also fine. I thought the custom made format was pretty cool, but I also like the gatefold.

My sub copy wasn't too bad when I got it, then when I opened (removing shrink wrap) it started to bend... I took the vinyl out for now. I thought the custom sleeves were okay, but they totally unnerve me when I see the card split when trying to get the vinyl in and out. I'm not sure how durable over time they'll be, so I think Spencer has made the right call on the future sleeves.

If you like Lee Hardcastle's splatter claymation shorts .. you guys must have seen The Raid / The Thing and his ABC'S Of Death episode? He is Kickstarting a full length movie and I am onboard as music supervisor it's called Spook Train and you can see the trailer here

Roll on Spook Train, I saw his work on The ABC'S of Death one of the best ones on there, funny, gruesome, amazing, very imaginative stuff - must take absolutely hours and hours to put it all together. Guess the music will be good then, a Death Waltz release?
