Someone asked what the benefit is of buying the B2B sub in the US if you can buy the individual releases from LITA.

There are benefits to both ways. I did end up getting the B2B sub over buying individually because:

* I like the idea of getting black vinyl, which has the highest probability of having the best sound compared with other colors.
* I like knowing what I'm getting and not having to play the "refresh" game. I ended up getting the clear version of Slumber today because the neon was sold out. I first I was bummed, but later I realized that I'm paying less for a color variant that has a better chance of yielding a more consistent sound experience over the multicolored variant. I am getting over this tulipmania approach to vinyl. Anyway, the sub will allow me to deflate this silly anxiety over buying music.
* I like getting the sound files. I get to listen to music at work but only as files on my computer. I could rip my own files, but it's nicer to just get them without the extra effort.

I asked LITA to pull the ltd variant when it was obvious are product ID was playing up.
It's no conspiracy / or game it simply wouldn't work hence deciding to pull it until after the weekend .. You all get fair warning again don't worry.
I try to be as open as possible with stuff and keep you all in the loop ...

Hi Spencer! I was hoping LiTA just pulled it off the site due to the issues with the DW site. However, the LiTA website has been updated and shows "SPLIT COLORED LP IS SOLD OUT!" on the release details. Are you saying there will be more available next week?

Not to get off topic, but I'm finding that I only get some of the forum messages as emails, and I'm talking about whole threads I've subscribed to. I'll get a sudden rush of emails, but they'll only contain a few of the messages on the board. Is anyone else experiencing that?

just pulled the trigger on the deluxe subscription. feeling slightly elated, slightly nauseous, but i knew i'd be kicking myself tomorrow if i didn't go for it. i'll most likely be buying every release in this batch anyway, and it'll be nice to know that I can just sit back and wait for delivery instead of having to hound my local every month. thanks spence!

I also woke to find I had missed the neon/blood variant (my hair started falling out immediately), but I think I'm going to see what happens next week in lieu of preordering a clear now (I can always get a clear later, but I can't cancel it if something more desirable comes along). I think it might have been a good idea to wait until after the month has turned to release SPM anyhow. Why would you put out five records in two weeks (intended to be one week--not to mention putting subs up within a week of the biggest record-buying day of the year)? Don't get me wrong; if I were a wealthy man, I would encourage you to release as many as often as possible.

So Spencer, going on from Slumber, will future shop/retail versions be the same as the deluxe versions (gatefold sleeves, booklet) but with clear vinyl rather than coloured?

Spencer - I renewed my sub last night but I haven't gotten an email from DW about it, only my payment confirmation from Paypal. Is that normal, is it usually delayed like that? Just want to make sure it went through and I get the email with the subscriber discount code since I'll be ordering SPM from you guys now. Thanks!

Also, when on the My Account page, clicking on any past orders doesn't do anything, just goes back to the My Account page, same thing happened a few days ago when I was trying to update my address.

i second that question, would be interesting to know if the only difference between the sub versions and the normal clear vinyl (retail) version is the coloured vinyl (and maybe the lithograph).

do the normal versions still come in gatefold covers (and only the B2B version in a standard sleeve), or will also the clear vinyl version be housed in a standard sleeve instead of the gatefold???

Like everyone else, I was pretty upset this morning to find out I missed the color SPM through LITA...

Then I thought about it...if I buy from Death Waltz, it should only be a few dollars more, and if I pull the trigger on the sub, that'll take off an additional 12%...add to that the download that I wouldn't have gotten through LITA...

Totally not upset anymore.
