Thing is, I have "To Live And Die.." on cassette and CD, but would love to see a nice, remastered reissue of it. Double LP set, gatefold, liner notes, you-name-it, etc.. Great fucking soundtrack. Needless to say, great fucking movie too.

Agreed on all other points. I may give it a listen as I drift off to the land of nod...

I'd really like to see The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford issued on vinyl. Never understood why it wasn't. Really incredible Nick Cave/Warren Ellis project.

Also, would like to see the Last of Us video game soundtrack pressed up...

Totally dreaming here, but here are some soundtracks that I'd really love to see released on vinyl:

Ennio Morricone - Viaggio con Anita (Lovers and Liars) (1979) LP

Michael Fraser & Fabio Frizzi - Nothings Really Is Missed 'till It's Gone (A Side) / 1. Bixio, Frizzi, & Tempera - Nucleo Antirapina 2. Magnetic System - Escape (B Side) 12"

Fabio Frizzi & Crossbow - Manaos (A Side) / 1. Fabio Frizzi & Cricket - You Are Not The Same 2. Fabio Frizzi & Cricket - You Don't Care (B Side) 12"

Stelvio Cipriani ‎– La Morte Cammina Con I Tacchi Alti (Death Walks on High Heels) (1971) LP

Berto Pisano - Nude per l'assassino (Strip Nude For Your Killer) (1975) LP

Stelvio Cipriani - Ecologia Del Delitto (Reazione A Catena) (Twitch of the Death Nerve) (1971) LP

To name but a few.

am i the only one around here that is dying for the soundtrack to WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE to be released on vinyl? i mean, the movie rules, the soundtrack is ridiculously good (cheesy, yes, but damn good). i know it is a 90s movie, so the chances of any of the labels here doing anything with it is probably slim, but i just sent the video to 'happy anniversary' to my wife on our 14th wedding anniversary, and i have watched the clip 6 times in a row already. you're welcome.

as an aside, i was in the airport in LA many years ago waiting in line at starbucks and the girl that played dawn wiener in the film was standing right in front of me. i was too chicken to introduce myself, and it is one of my life's ultimate regrets...

this is the 90s stuff i would love to see on vinyl...

Ninth Gate is a haunting, creepy soundtrack. being a big Polanski fan it is a dream of mine seeing these on 2LP one day.

a really good score, very unrerrated too.

this is a really special one that a lot of people don't even know about. the first part of CD (or casette) contain a compilation of old songs being used for the movie but the seccond part is 12 track score by none other than Ennio Morricone itself and it is really incredible. highly recommended!

yes, i love it. Burbs must be one of the very last Jerry Goldsmith scores that didn't get the vinyl treatment anymore.

Basic Instinct is Goldsmiths last score and that got waxed in the 90s i think...this one is really fantastic IMHO. was very tough for me to get a copy. finally i found one.

Just popped into my head today - I'd love to see a full release on vinyl collecting the music from the earlier films of Hal Hartley (pre-Amateur, which I do have the score from on wax...)

Composed and performed by Hartley himself as Ned Rifle, awesome stuff!
