So, I was checking out the website of those nice wall support for records that static14 uses, found out on their website, with the seller location tool, that they are available in one of my local stores in Montreal. I went to buy 3 of them, and since it's a store I never went to before, I checked out their soundtrack section and found theses :

Was it too much, 40$ for "the burning" ? Also, "Brainstorm" is nice, and it's my first James Horner on vinyl.

By the power of Layne Harvey! Nice score on the double Mondo variants...they compliment the rest nicely!

A few new bits...

It's been a long time coming, but this Morricone has now joined the collection.

I already have the standard US LP, but this sleeve was too nice to leave.

Nice Italian Afro-funk Yeti exploitation!

Riz Ortolani's synth 45rpm 12" for Lucio Fulci's 'Rome, 2072 A.D.'

Excellent RD Burman Bollywood.

This one contains some staggering RD Burman like scatting from Omi.

Some 45s:

Very nice - I was just thinking today how I don't see much love for Hindi soundtracks on the forum, and plan to post my pics of my small-but-perfectly-formed collection soon! ;)

Ah great, I'd love to see what you have! I have a fair few in my collection, some are logged on discogs, some not. Obviously, it's a bit of a pain having to manually create the page for these records on discogs each time you buy some - I have a big stack here now waiting for me to log.

It's on www.recordsonwalls.com, check it out, the store I went to were using those to showcase new arrivals on their walls and it looked nice

Any favourite composers/singers?

I have a bunch of Kalyanji/Anandji which I'll post pics of - the sleeve art for most of them is outrageously great!

I also have one which is a real jewel in my collection - Gumnaam (Jakishan Shankar) featuring the insane Jan Pehachan Ho....I have the (seemingly rare?) EMI/Odeon pressing with black+burnt orange sleeve.

Oh yeah, I love Kalyanji Anandji, also RD Burman, Shankar Jaikishan, Laxmikant Pyarelal and Bappi Lahiri with his insane disco music!

A few of my faves: RD Burman - Rocky, Kalyanji Anandji - Don, RD Burman - Haré Rama Haré Krishna, RD Burman - Kati Patang, Rajesh Roshan ‎– Lootmaar.

I'm a lifelong record collector/obsessive but I just don't get this displaying sleeves on the wall thing - it seems a bit wrong to me I'm afraid......oh alright, I'll go the whole hog, it's a crime against nature - stop it!!

Wow, I am very interested to hear your view on this. At the moment I only have dupes on the wall, but I am interested in these because I could put stuff up that I want to be able to play quickly and easily.

To me it is a no brainer to hang this stuff, but I admit to hanging a lot of stuff on my walls.

I'm not sure why but I just can't get my head around it - I also have a lot of stuff on walls, just not album sleeves.

My old skateboard is certainly on the wall and there it's going to stay I suspect!

What about the lithos from DW releases? Now they really do look awesome on a wall!

What better use of a sliver of wall space than with a rotating display of covers?
