Love mine personally. First off you just tip the covers in without having to do anything nutty and its a nice clean way of having the album jacket in sort of a "now playing" / recently played display.

No problem with the Sunfade ?

no direct sunlight ever hits that wall, and also the albums move off the wall every few days or so. As i play something it takes the spot to the far left and everything slides down and the last one gets put away.

I am loving everyone's pics, so here is another.

these pics always look better in my head so I think I need to learn how to adjust light, angles, etc, but here is another section of (jazz) covers on my wall.

To be honest... I just pre-ordered it when it first appeared on Amazon.

I was about to cancel my pre-order but I realized that its price increased up to 99 GBP (!!) whereas my pre-order price was around 35 GBP so I wanted to give it a shot :)

Trying to find some albums to get my daughter into vinyl. I'm pretty sure these will help. Thanks for posting these.

hey darrell, i always keep an eye out for old 'book and record' sets from when i was a kid. the kind where it is. book and a 45. they LOVE those and they can usually be had for pretty cheap. also, they adore the beatlrs, so i have picked up several beatles 45s - none worth anything. they have their own record player and everything.

Thanks Layne! She's about to be 1 so I have plenty of time to get her a good variety of albums.

Nor me TAG but the socre is great. Very playful and clever. Reminds me of Danny Elfman's stuff for Tim Burton in places.

@NMA if you decide you don't want the Frozen soundtrack, I'll take it off yer hands for £35 my little girl would love it! Currently it's about £65 on Amazon.co.uk, noticed it was £100 plus last week craaazeee prices, still can't justify that much money, plus I'd have to listen to it all the time! meh ;)

Also nice recent collections added, you seem to be buying everything and anything. That I want!

I am going to second Layne on the book and record sets, my son just turned 4 and loves them. The only problem is I only have one table so if he is listening, no music for dad.

@darrell daughter just turned one in January. Bought her a cutesy turntable for Christmas and a boatload of children LPs including those book and record sets. I have a bunch of those Halloween stories and sing-a-longs that are part of my collection but hoping she takes to them as well. I usually carry her and bring up close and personal to my turntable just to try and get her accustomed to it ;-) she usually reaches out & slows the spinning down :-)

@the dads - those record and book sets sound great, will definitely be on the look out for them. My guy just turned 1 this week, but to be honest he is too much of a wrecking ball to go near my decks at this point!

@tim sure was stellar month, some top stuff up on here. @creature really want to get my hands on tourist trap at some point @oaxaca waiting for my copy of Alligator. The Awakening is fantastic! @zuko my little girl is almost 3 and from the very beginning I have told her DO NOT touch the vinyl - not in a scary dad way, but just as she grows up and knows what she can and can't do. She now has a great little collection of children's vinyl and I have both her and my records (probably somewhat foolish) where she could reach them if she wanted. But yeah most kids do like to get into everything and break stuff, she enjoys ripping her comics to bits. Mine are well hidden away. But I feel lucky and pleased she respects the vinyl :)
