@Poet I almost grabbed that for my little girl but the price put me off.

guys, i hate to say this, but that FROZEN soundtrack is total shit. :) i mean, the movie had it's moments, but those songs... i swear i'll level my whole block if i hear that goddamn 'let it go' song one more time. my kids are sending me to an early grave.

Layne! I have to admit that I am also going to an early grave from this soundtrack...but then again... I am sure the luckies and bourbon didn't help :)

@unpopular poet - you're gonna need loads more bourbon after a few rounds of that record. :)

Agree with Layne bought the CD for the car as couldn't afford the vinyl and didn't want my little girl to miss out, but after a few listens aaahhh!!! It gets stuck in your head and is with you even when you're not playing it,takes a few days to rid it from your mind. Be warned!
Saying that however the score part isn't too bad. :)

I hate that song! Never saw the movie, so I can't talk about that. As far as the bourbon goes... I am on board with that! I love me some bourbon! :D

A rare trip to Spitalfields Market Record Fair - my local every two weeks London fair that I get to about once a year!- was surprisingly fruitful for soundtracks - each around £3 - £10.....

Pleased to find Conan especially along with a couple of great 45s....

I had a pretty good day of deliveries.

The top one is the reason why I haven't bought a new record in over a month. The other two guys arrived along with it and look absolutely incredible.

That Vocoder is sweet Darren. Those usually cost as much as car. Good that the value will stay with it though. I have been wanting to look into collecting some older synth equipment.

Very nice @Darren

Just bought myself the Axiom Air49 Midi controller and space permitting am looking at investing in the analogue market!

Thanks @jdubtxn. Yeah, it was expensive alright, but it's my synth grail.
It's the same model Roland VP-330 (though a slightly later version) synthesizer that Vangelis used on the Blade Runner soundtrack.

I think, though I'm not 100% (a bit of listening guesswork involved), that Fabio Frizzi might have used one a bit. I can really hear it in there on Manhattan Baby

The human voice and string sounds are just incredible.

That's a beauty of a controller @philiball what are you using it with?

If you ever have any questions about buying analog give me a shout. I'm by no means an expert but I have a bit of experience with buying and working with analog equipment

You got the vp 330 so nice!!!

Thats on the dreamlist for me right next to the prophet v.

I went the modular route as of now. Paired with a roland space echo I picked up a month or so ago:
