I've been back to school for a little over a year now, but as a Professor rather than a student.

Grading student papers is making my brain melt...

I'll probably go back to school again in January for a PhD. I think that will finally officially end my desire to seek university education.

Went to a consignment shop during my lunch break looking for a birthday gift for my mother-in-law. Of course a dirty, old box of records in a corner drew my attention. Mostly your typical garbage Goodwill donation records, until the very end Cover a bit worn, but disc mint. Only $5!

Picked up this the other day for a couple of pounds - made me happy anyway!!

Sometimes we complain about proper mailers for our records but this is a new one to me. I received this package today and it was literally a record inside a bag with random loose bits stuffed around both sides. Granted, it was a real cheap purchase and free shipping but I have never seen anything like this.



Naturally there are creases from corner bends but amazingly it went cross country without breaking the record. love the use of the styrofoam plate. Hell if you got it...use it. Hard to imagine someone thinking this will work out fine.

yes! the recent Violence! box set included original catalogs and zines from Cometa and include info about subscriptions and limited editions. WAY ahead of the current resurgence.

(And, in case there are those that don't know, Cometa still has NOS copies of some of their original stock as well as recent reissues.)
