I like the World War Z soundtrack, it's tense. But yeah ABYSS man ! Wish I could get my hands on a copy as well.

@Edkingds I love the man of steel score, doesn't seem to be much Zimmer love on these forums. Get the impressions it's just because he's "mainstream"

@Renpen, I love Zimmer! I just don't have the big $$$ to buy his best works :p Still waiting for a re-issue for Inception and Dark Knight.
@Tim, thnx! Unfortunately Jaws isn't quite.. The "tourist theme" is full of pops and cracks, the rest though.. Silent :)
I really love the Abyss, such a nice score! Should watch the movie again soon :)

@Spun they both are great, both are perfect for Halloween. you can tell Fabio Frizzi was a big influence in Tomb of Horror. on a side note idk why all my pics are showing up sideways. when i post them they are vertical

i think what i like most about Slasher Dave is that his name is so basic. take a badass word and pair it with your first name. no other gimmicks. as a matter of fact, from here on out, i'm going by Throatslice Layne.

I really like Slasher Dave...waiting on Tomb to arrive - Check out their Bellyache Records label mates Voyg3r...also worthy - Listen to them both on their Bandcamp pages

Got my TCM...which is amazing...but my sub Lps weren't included...bummed!

Went off the Slasher Dave LP before Id even received it in the post, having listened a few times via hn listening service! It just had nothing much to offer past 2 or 3 listens, but thats personal taste for ya. Now Voyag3r as mentioned by hn, is a cracking album.

got my red vinyl copy of HOUSE OF THE DEVIL and noticed on the back of the obi, it says LIZARD IN A WOMAN'S SKIN is coming in 2014. holy shit!!! here is house:

and here is the new SLASHER DAVE, which looks absolutely stunning. mine has a scratch going from the runoff into the last track on side A, but hopefully it will be okay.

For anyone wondering about that Slasher Dave album - I've spun it three times now, and absolutely love it. I have a feeling it'll hit my turntable another ten times before Halloween, seriously. It just fits perfectly for the season...and isn't cheesy at all. It is a huge step forward from his first album.

I wasn't really excited at all by the Voy3ger album, not yet at least. I've spun it once, so maybe it needs a few more listens. It just sounds like a mellow jam band / club or bar band performance of Zombi music, just without all the intensity. I'm not saying it's a bad album - just maybe not a great purchase for me. I do absolutely love their 7" though, so maybe this one will grow on me.
