Ahh, replies within threads - I never spot them!

Good stuff Volzom, another Space Lady convert! You can pick up her very first LP release from Night School on wax, which collects tape recordings from the early 90s. She's a complete doll, like the Yin to Moondog's Yang!

The other cool thing was, Space Lady had not even heard her own LP when I met her - I had the honour of spinning it for her, for the first time! :) She thought it sounded "really good!" !!

Those we have are the US versions. Good quality releases, decent pressings.
iMO the FK versions will look better artwork wise...but no clue on tracklisting and prices.

Pick your poison, these or the FK versions. We're just happy to stock em. Such great releases.

Forgot about Finders Keepers releasing them too. I always find it a bit strange this double releasing shananigans. I think I prefer the OWS artwork for Holy Mountain but Finders Keepers for El Topo.

I like both Holy Mountains, the artwork is equally great IMO. I just hope that the US gets the Finders Keepers versions of these Jodorowsky relases distrubted, the way Europe has got the RealGoneMusic versions.

Forced Exposure usually carries Finders Keepers titles for the US, right?

I really enjoy my copy of El Topo...I'll have to check out these other titles.

Climb Mount Analog carries FK in the US as well. Also Experimedia.

Just wanted to clarify yo - I have nothing against the Real Gone Music versions of these that OWS are carrying, they look awesome and the descriptions are great. But for UK Spinners, it's bound to work out cheaper for (what I'm guessing are) the exact same LPs from Finders Keepers, with (and I stress again!) *arguably* better artwork. Well, I prefer them anyway! ;)

Great to have the choice however, and props to OWS as ever for having great taste and carrying awesome products in their store.

Those certainly are easy on the eyes, Vapourmire. I must confess to ignorance on the Bruton Music Library releases. What's the music like or are there any sound samples readily available?
By Vapourmire
#42749
Hi, Bruton Music published many library albums throughout the 70's and 80's, and still do today, that contained music nothing more than for use in various adverts,TV, films etc.
The thing was they had some extremely talented musicians on their books during this early period and so most of the music was of a very high quality. There's a heap of information on the web about Bruton Music Library as well as Youtube clips here and there, but it's a very cherished label steeped in nostalgia and well worth a listen.

Here's an example, but their output was so varied in styles:

Thanks for the pointers, Vapourmire. Library music is a blast to listen to and read up on. Who's reissuing their music?
