Guys, where is that Batman vinyl available from? I'm watching the series again at the moment and loving it!

** EDIT ** Never mind, found on Amazon after a brief search!

Spun, nice choice with the Phil Spector album. I bought it on white vinyl last year, one of the best Christmas albums around.

@blastman

Yep the Spector is probably the definitive Christmas listen. Had a taped copy on cassette for years so when I saw it had come out on red vinyl seemed a perfect time/excuse to 'upgrade' ;)

Banquet Records has the Batman relatively affordably:HERE

I guess this is my very first unboxing video :D

PS: I have never played any GTA games but I find the second volume of this set (score) quite interesting and addictive.

Went to my local haunts today & had a couple of bits come in through the mail.

They Live (reissue)

The vinyl colour on this thing is amazing.

Tired Tape Machine - Not Here

La Planete Sauvage - Alain Goraguer

Cannot recommend this reissue enough.

Wolves In The Throne Room - Celestite

Follow up accompaniment to their last album, very much in the vein of recent Burzum releases.

Ennio Morricone - Sergio Leone

Nice little Cinevox comp I found still sealed & quite cheap.

True Confessions - Georges Delerue

Love this movie, can't quite remember the score but at only £1 it was worth a go.

The Switch - Henry Mancini

All in all a good day :)

My Christmas package showed up from DW today and I got a test pressing! No label but after giving it a quick listen and figuring out the speed it's The Horror Business which is a-okay with me! :)

Hmm.....Why is it that The Switch gets me the most excited of these? ;)

@discosucks What's the green one? Kill? Never heard of it, but I'm very intrigued. Tell me more *pulls up chair*

HEAR! Jean Seberg singing the title song. Bonus!

I don't know a whole lot about either Berto Pisano or this movie, tbh @scottyboy.....but it's good music!

Although the sleeve notes and stills make the movie sound interesting (policier with plenty of sexiness/drugs/bad mens) it's actually meant to be pretty rubbish. Some weird stuff in the notes about Seberg being investigated by J Edgar Hoover....because of her political activities and relationship with the Black Panthers! I had no idea....

The sounds are in the realm of Cipriani, full on fuzzed funk-jazz, alternating tripped-out heavy and exotic dreamy....me likey. Very Beat at Cinecitta!

These OMNI pressings are pretty damned sweet - the sound on thick black wax is lush and crisp, my copy is as quiet as you could wish for, and the packaging/art design is fully in keeping and filled with info. Great stuff!

Looking forward to their pressing of Morricone's amazing Il Sorriso Del Grande Tentatore (The Devil is a Woman!) The original Beat version goes for bucks. Score entirely composed of variations on Deus Irae:

Daniel Fagerstrom - A Living Soul
Released on Moptaco Dics, 2014.

I don't believe I've seen anyone show this soundtrack off yet, but it's really a great listen. It is all modular synth music, but not bleeps and bloops. This truly sounds like robots coming to life. It's extremely limited at 100 units, but I think it's worth tracking down.

(The post i responded to above seems to have disappeared - did a moderator do that?)

Edit: 'below' now since the original post is gone i guess my reply is an orphan? Revisionist history is generally a bad thing...)
