Guardians turned out awesome!! Were there supposed to be two lobby cards though? I only got the one. Looked like peeps were posting pics of a large card and a smaller one.

Thanks to the board for the sexy french synthesizer space tune recommendation. I am really hearing the DJ Shadow track "Organ Donor" in Jean Michel Jarre's "Blackbird," pretty clear now where that organ riff came from!

It is uncanny how much stuff you can hear in some of these records...like how Pink Floyd ripped off Umiliani's To-Day's Sound album and used it as a thematic element in Dark Side of the Moon.

@texas It's more likely Umiliani was paying homage to dark side. It's a common theme of many libraries to cover current pop tunes.

Organ donar is a sample of tears by giorgio moroder.

Debut single from Lucifer - Anubis/Morning Star.

Imagine Black Sabbath with a female vocalist and you're half the way there.
Heavy doom riffs with sweet vocals, this is a total must for metal fans.

I really dig that Ghosts of the Civil Dead score, have had it on CD for years and it often gets neglected but eveytime I put it on I'm always surprised at how much I enjoy it. It's a shame that Nick and Blixa didn't work together on many other soundtracks, pretty sure Blixa played on To Have and to Hold as well, but it would have been great to hear the product those two could have produced given the right film at that point in their careers.

Hippie Dippie stuff TAG...good music listen but essential...I wouldn't go that far - Has been reissued recently and the only reason I picked it up is I found the OG press in really clean condition and really nice priced...the bonus is it isn't what I thought it would be...a trippy psych ride though the Floyd goes in that direction...but not bad for what it is...more a smoke some weed and chill Lp

@million, listen to "Lady Magnolia" on that To-Day's Sound album. That's 1969. Then put on "Any Color You Like" from Dark Side of the Moon-- 1971. Pink Floyd took the bass line and guitar theme from Piero and used it as a major theme of the DSOM album!

I thought both lps were from 1973 DSOM March 73 and to-days sound july 73. Lemme check my lp when I get home.

Really sounds like Sabbath, a bit like Blood Ceremony.
