@goodnight, I am overall pretty dissatisfied with these Contempo pressings, and I have all of them except for Kali Yug... My Big Gundown doesn't sound great, and it's pressed off-center on both sides. The cover was poorly folded, so the seams of the jacket are all wonky. The other Morricone pressing they did came without a real jacket, just a poster paper wrap. My copy of Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow also was pressed off-center on one of the sides.

On the flip side I have been very pleased with all the Dagored and AMS releases. I haven't received my LITA order w/ Big Gundown yet, but I did end up ordering it in addition to the Contempo.

I might be done buying these Contempo releases especially at $30 a pop.

Rustblade has for sale for RSD (but you can pre-order now) a picture disc of old Goblin tracks, and it looks like they are redone by the Claudio Simonetti version of Goblin. That's how I'm reading it, anyway, that it isn't just old tracks done by the original Goblin. There is also a version that you can buy with an autographed poster.

Not exactly new, but it's still something that you might now know about and be interested in. Lyonnais put out a 7" of soundtrack drones for a post-apocalyptic film short. You can hear a sound sample at the label site. Go to http://www.geographic-north.com/ and then scroll down to the photo of a 7" with a person's face, and the person is lying down.

And another release. It's an LP by Seabat and Lucky Dragons, and it was originally commissioned for a soundtrack to experimental animation based on Tarkovsky's "Stalker."

There is a limited blue version that is still available. You can get it through the label's bandcamp site (LINK), and it is also available via Experimedia.

Awesome, thanks JMC!! I went ahead and got all three of the releases on their band camp... Might as well, they're all great, the dollar is strong against the euro, and $2/additional shipping for the 2nd and 3rd albums was a lot better than he $21 shipping charge on the first LP!

And at 300 hand numbered copies, you know releases like funky Brugnolini and Sorghini are going to disappear in a hurry.
