Got my notice on Tuesday, even though I'm in VA, I always assume Media Mail takes a week. I don't think they give tracking numbers or say it shipped, my email just said the order was complete, which I took to mean shipped. I ordered almost immediately, so I'm hoping I get the variant. I already picked up the green/yellow version at my local shop.

Just wondering if anyone who preordered this on August 27th has received the Variant vinyl yet and if so what was your order #? I just read that the last of the preorders is shipping out already and I still have seen nothing confirming my order was shipped. I'm getting a bit concerned considering I placed my order as soon as they released the link online.

I can't help but feel a little burned by this whole experience. I purchased my presale immediately once they went up on Aug. 27th. After being told that my package was "in transit" last week by the label, i received a shipping confirmation that my order was shipped today, Oct. 21st. And this was after i received a separate notification that my order was completed on the 14th. I'm just a little frustrated that i paid for this roughly 8 weeks ago and haven't received anything. Meanwhile my local record shop has plenty. I would think presales would go out first. If not, whats the benefit of the presale especially considering the variants were added to non-presale inventory?

Deadite, apologies for any delay. The benefit of pre ordering directly from us is that the zombie flesh variants are only available thru our web store. Record shops received the standard yellow/green version which are very cool, as well.

There was a small delay with our freight service and we feel shitty about it. We're a two man operation and that delay pushed shipment back a few days. Again, we're sorry about that delay but when you guys see how great Day if the Dead came out, you're gonna flip!

If you haven't received your order yet, rest assured it's in transit.

We're working extremely hard to ensure that there isn't a long pre order waiting period on future releases. Ideally, we want to ship out records immediately after an order is placed, and we're busting ass to make that happen!

I just got my Day of the Dead last night and love it. Waxworks has started off with 2 great releases in my opnion. The pressing sounds really clean (I like the music on this one better than Re-Animator). The zombi vinyl is sweet looking and a great gatefold package.
Can't wait to see what is in store for Rosmary's Baby

Am I the only one who keeps seeing a message from 10/05/13 (#5379) as the last message in this tread? Not to mention that layneharveys "wait, what? who, me? oh yeah, there i am." (#4917) keeps popping up on the last page

Maybe it has something to do with the Reply button, which I wish people wouldn't use...

Replying back to Rasmus -- yes, the message ordered is screwy from the Reply button. Wait, what? Layneharvey message on last page? Oh yeah, there it is.

It also happens if you are subscribed to a message thread, and you reply to a message that you get in email, like I did with yours. It looks like you are typing at the bottom of the page and it'll show up there, but it's really showing up under the replied message.

Yeah it is messed up on my view as well. The newest messages are at the top of several messages that are old and haven't ever gone away.


Anyways - I got in my Day Of The Dead on zombie flesh & blood - what an incredibly great package and vinyl!

I got my zombie flesh and blood copy today, and my standard edition last week. Both copies look great, really top notch stuff! After watching Friday the 13th, I'm looking forward to those releases after Rosemary's Baby (it was mentioned in an interview, hopefully it's still on the list!).

And yeah, I'm seeing the old posts at the end too. Side note, does anyone else think the mods need to adjust the forum so more than 5 posts show up on a page? Not sure if it's possible, but that combined with the very narrow post area make the forum more difficult to navigate than others I've used.

Got mine and love it. I was a little resistant at first since I have the original release on vinyl, but there's enough extra stuff AND the whole package is awesome, made it worth it. Zombie Blood flesh version FTW!
