A few weeks back I was lucky enough to be in Austin to check out Jason Edmiston's exhibit, Eyes Without a Face, at MONDO. I was also able to pick up some MONDO/Death Waltz wax direct from the gallery. Scored some variants that I wasn't lucky enough to get through past mail order purchases. Great day and definitely the highlight of my trip.

Don't worry guys, where you can order these titles it's legit (mine came from Amazon...). Italian's RSD titles, for what I know, are titles that are released during RSD time and they aren't exclusive with RSD restrictions (like UK stuff for example). Every Italian titles (like AMS stuff, Claudio Simonetti's Goblin and these Dagoreds) are available to order/preorder online.

It might be cheating a little, but I am glad some retailers do it. I live in the middlle of nowhere and would need to trvel a long way for the nearest record shop, besides working weekends, etc so queueing up outside a record shop isn't going to happen. As it says on their site, "first come, first served", which seems to give people a fair crack (and thus cut down on flippers?) I can see it might ruin the specialness of the occasion if all shops did it though.

^^^ The one with the bullet holes (Maniac Cop?) looks fabulous... how lucky to get all those variants.

On the whole RSD thing, would actually prefer it if releases were a bit more spread out rather than having to maniacally grab everything on the one day. RSD week or RSD month with staggered releases would suit me just fine.

To be honest pretty much every other day already feels like RSD with the great stuff coming out.

Just on the AMS stuff, limited-ness aside, anyone know why transparent vinyl is being listed at a higher price than the coloured vinyl? Ten Euros extra seems a bit much, especially for a Goblin 7-inch.

i picked up Beetlejuice on my last trip to Hong Kong a few months ago. mint copy for arround $3. don't understand why they want to reissue this. it's a nice socre but not worth more than probably $10...

In the states it is tough to find the LP, with used copies trading for about $30. (Right now there is one copy listed on Discogs in the US for $50)

I'm glad for the reissue, my copy is VG all around and plays with some noise.
